Liked it was a great place but hated to leave the dogs they have some wonderful pets but I was looking for a small house dog a very small dog all the dogs at this shelter are or will be big dogs I hated to leave them I cried on way home it was heartbreaking ? to leave them but I can't have a big dog but the ones there would make great pets all they need is love and a family so go adopt and try not to.cry like I did God bless ?

The woman working here the day I went was so kind. You can tell that each animal is very well cared for and they do the utmost for every case that comes in.

Well I amazed with the Love they show and concerns of strays and all animals. I been there quiet often not to adopt but to get advice and pointers and to drop off my own. They show concerns of my animals and others. It may not have the fancy look to this l shelter. But the animals are cleaned and fed. Good people here. That treat these animals while there with love.I pray for many donaions to have them a bigger place, more cages. Space . They do screening. That impress me. For wanting to give these animals the love and attention, no kill. Is number one to me. when adopted they have thier shots, neutered, wormed. That's a blessing. But most of all fed good in a warm place This animnal shelter here in Pburg is one of the biggest blessing in Floyd county. Thank you.

I was highly disappointed when I visited this shelter. Very unclean, the animals were outside in the heat. There were cats with stuff coming out of their eyes and noses and one cat had brown on the bottom of his/her white paws. I assume it had been stepping in all the poop you see in the photos. I'm really disappointed.
