I went to JCPenney in pikeville, ky. on Saturday August 21, 2021 right when they opened at 11 am. The bathroom smell knocked me down as soon as I entered. There were tissue and brown paper towels on the floor and the toilet had not been flushed. From all of this the bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long time. It was VERY NASTY! Inexcusable considering they just had opened. I tried to shop but it was so hot in the store I decided to leave. Very badly disappointing as I had arrived at 10:30 and waited until 11 am waiting in my car until they opened!

Store is always tidy and stocked well. People very friendly here also. I feel comfortable and at home browsing around. They always have a huge nicely organized clearance area also. The building is old but they still know how to put it together nicely. They don't have a Sephora at this location and I think it would be nice in this area of Pikeville or I'd gave 5 stars

I decided to get my hair cut, I went in as walk-in. I looked through a few books, picked out a cut. Dawn cut my hair and she did a awsome job. She cut it exactly as the cut I picked out. I highly recommend her.
