Food City offers good deals on meats, especially with the 5 for 2O, which I use those meats for breakfast mostly with the exception of the chicken legs and hamburger meat. Some items, however, are cheaper at Walmart, so you learn where to go for what item.One area Food City offers more is the savings from the Food City rewards card. It saves on certain items, and it also offers fuel bucks to use at the pump.I have the Walmart plus membership, as well, and you get 10 cents off of every gallon of gas no matter what, while Food City's fuel saver is determined by how much you spend in store.Walmart has better prices on water while Food City has better offers on milk.The biggest advantage that Food City has over Walmart is that they have a selection of fresh meats and different variations of seasonings on some of them, while Walmart only offers deli meat for sandwiches.Food City also offers certain fruits and vegetables for 5 for 7.99.I

I was in your store the evening of September 17th 2022, at 10:05pm I went to check out I had 23 items which the cashier looked noticeably annoyed by as she was ringing up our order she purposely was slinging our items down the conveyer belt where they slammed into the item before, my wife noticed some baked goods at the end of the register and we got a cake and as she was handing it over to her the clerk stared at my wife looking extremely annoyed and not a quick flash of disapproval she literally looked for well over 20 seconds leaving my wife holding the cake in mid air before she snatched it and threw it to the counter... As she was slinging our food items down the counter my wife started bagging the groceries almost finished, cashier( Karen Y ) on terminal 06.. (that's not a joke her name is actually Karen) came to the bagging area and pretended not to be able to get the bags pulled away from the rack, when she finally did she grabbed a few items and started like really throwing them in the bags! As she got to the cake she was seriously annoyed by she slammed it into the bag so hard it flipped upside down! At this point I said ma'am you turned the cake upside down.. she said oops! I said well I'm going to exchange it because at this point the frosting from the cake had been smeared on the inside lid damaging it.. all this should be on camera. In closing I'd like to say I've been a loyal customer for over a decade and in that time I've never run across such a rude and inconsiderate person as I did this evening, I understand people have bad days but this was inexcusable behavior for a person that chose to be in public service & considering the fact that I know the clerks are paid extremely well with your company that should at least put a fake smile on her face for each and every customer or at the very least get one's very expensive groceries handled with some care. I'm not looking to get the girl fired but someone should have a talk with her and explain if it wasn't for people shopping your stores she wouldn't have a job or perhaps she'd be better off away from the public eye and fair better stocking shelves where she wouldn't have to deal with the public one on one.

Awesome place! The workers are always polite, helpful, even if you don't need it they go out if their way to see if you need help. My favorite place to shop for spirits, good selection and great prices.

I got food at the Deli, had too much salt, couldn't eat it, threw in garbage. Horrible experience, never again plus they were rude and not people persons

I love shopping at Food City. They still have cashiers and Bag Boys. I NEVER buy meat or fruits and vegetables at their competitors. Fresher meat and locally grown produce make all the difference to me abs my husband.

This review will be on the gocart/curbside that food City offers. Using the website was easy and pickup was a little slow. What really makes the experience bad is the shopper that pulled my order. I know that the order says that they will replace items with alternatives if they do not have the item you choose. So on my order they replace 2 half gallons of chocolate milk with two gallons of whole white milk. I don't believe that is a good alternative. However they couldn't find a alternative for my bread, ranch dressing, or bologna. There was more items that were left out. I believe that if a company is going to offer this service then they should have people that will work the program. I was really disappointed once I got home and realize that a bunch of the items that we ordered was not pulled. I wouldn't recommend this service unless you absolutely have to use curbside.
