I have a car loan set up through this bank and their online "ReadyPay" system is a joke. A bad joke.
I have to change my password every month to pay my bill. I'm extremely comfortable with computers and rarely mess up passwords, much less monthly for 2+ years.
Some months Readypay gets even worse and refuses to let you reset your password so you have to contact customer service (I've had to on at least three occasions.)
They need to resolve the issues with their service and allow payments to be made timely on their end. People shouldn't have to fight to pay them money.

If they was the only bank on the planet I would go without one.

I’ve received nothing but amazing support from their loan department. I did my first auto loan through them many years ago. When I went to purchase my next vehicle I specifically requested the dealer go through them and received a great rate. Any time I needed a document through the customer service email they’ve always replied the same day and provided within 24 hours. Kayla B. was super supportive through all my requests. Next time I purchase a vehicle, I’ll certainly go through them again! Thanks!

Absolutely atrocious. Unfortunately I was lead to them via auto a loan in September and out of the many auto loans I have had this is the most podunk bank I have EVER used. Rhonda is simply rude and you find that out rather quick when you call with any question. They do NOT give an amortization schedule, honestly I’m not even sure Rhonda had any idea what that was . I needed one for tax reasons as my vehicle is bought through myself/my company and is a depreciating asset with interest. Unfortunately they provide nothing like this. I’ve NEVER heard of a bank being so clueless in this aspect. Finally, the next lady I spoke to said she could mail me something but living a state away I’d rather have my simple interest - principal statements emailed… she said no can do unless I fax her a piece of paper giving them permission to do so?? Once again, I’ve NEVER heard of this. no letting her know my social, tax ID, mothers maiden name, etc would work.Just a bank I would NEVER recommend doing business with-I will be refinancing ASAP for this alone.

We have banked with them for 15 years. Never have they corrected a mistake or helped us out. Recently deposited a check at the window. Pretty standard. What they don’t tell you is that unless you specifically tell them not to, they hold it for 24 hrs. Guess where we found out? Trying to pay the check at a restaurant. We called, they refused to do anything. ANYTHING. Luckily, a helpful teller at the pikeville Walmart branch helped us by somehow giving us enough to pay the bill. But the main branch? Nope. Sorry, Charlie. You should have thought of that before you gave us a check with YOUR NAME on it with YOUR MONEY to put in YOUR ACCOUNT.

Let me clarify that this is not directed toward any branch but to the corporate office. Community Trust Bank is a business I will never trust again. They are deceitful and immoral. They do not care for their customers, only what they can make from them. I was initially lead to believe that I was important to them but in reality I was nothing but a number. I would highly encourage anyone to take their banking needs elsewhere. If this were the only bank available I would rather bury my money in a coffee can in my back yard than bank with them.
