Definitely believe the other glowing reviews! I've moved around quite a bit over the past few years and have had 5 different vets, so I understand firsthand how nerve racking it is trying to find a good office. Park Hills is absolutely incredible! Their front desk staff is extremely nice and friendly. Iverson, the technician, is also honestly the best tech I've ever had.
Dr. Danahy was completely unphased when my shih tzu barked at her entering the room. She immediately grabbed a treat and reached out her hand to gain trust. Throughout our checkup, everyone was extremely kind not only to myself and my partner, but also to my dog. Dr. Danahy was also extremely thorough in explaining even the smallest things about possible side effects to look out for with the shots we were getting. We definitely have found our permanent clinic while living in Cincinnati.
I also thought the price was extremely fair, especially given the quality of the visit. The examination itself was right at about $100 and then we updated all of our shots (around $190). We also added on a flea treatment sample and did decline a few tests/treatments, so in total we paid around $345.

I really can’t say enough good things about this place! Everyone there is so kind, personable, and down to earth. They treat you like family and remember you and your animals every year and it seems they genuinely care. I’d recommend this vet to anyone

My family and I have been coming here for years!! Dr. Collett and his staff are truly incredible! There are not enough words to describe how much their care means to my family and I! Every time we walk in, they always greet you with a smile and with love!! Thank you Park Hills Animal Hospital!!!

I can’t say anything that will do justice. This place is absolutely amazing. You truly cannot ask for better care. I am beyond thankful for how compassionate, knowledgeable and professional they are. It’s a good feeling to be able to take your fur babies to a place you trust. They do an exception job with our sweet pit bull and our cranky cat, lol. Thank you so much!

Park Hills Animal Hospital is incredible! Even after moving I still make the drive to see Dr Buckley. The entire staff treats Abby and I like family. They are always quick to respond and find a way to get your animal in when illness or injury happen. Couldn’t recommend this place more ?

We LOVE PHAH! After moving to Ft. Wright two years ago, we were torn to leave our previous vet. We spent countless hours reading reviews and trying to figure out what vet seem to be a good match for our fur family. All recommendations were glowing about PHAH, so we gave it a shot. We called and met with PHAH and they were incredibly welcoming and kind. Our oldest dog unfortunately needed a possible oral surgery and PHAH expediated this for us - even not fully knowing us. Dr. Danahy and team extensively read our dog's file from our previous vet, ran a few additional tests, and was able to do the surgery the next day! They were really looking out for our fur baby and were so responsive. Honestly, I feel as if we are in such good hands with them. Dr. Danahy is by far one of the best veterinarians I've met. She explains everything so well and in-detail and calls to check-up on our dogs. She is incredibly kind and professional. Pricing is pretty on-par with many other local vets - we never feel like they "nickel and dime" us or run pointless, pricey tests. If you are considering a new vet, contact PHAH! You will not regret it!

The staff and doctors are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I’ve even received phone calls late in the evening to follow up and make sure I didn’t have any other questions. They are thorough and kind. You can tell how much they all love the animals. My dog was referred to MedVet for a diagnostic study and I was in the waiting room when I heard them on the phone our vet from PHAH calling to check on her. They really care about our pets and I know they are in the best hands with them.

I have been bringing my two cats and dog to PHAH for almost 10 years now. The moment any of my animals walk in the door they are asking how they are doing and speaking sweetly to them. The vets have always been so helpful and as an anxious pet mom I always have questions and they always take my worries very serious. When my cats had some sort of stomach bug they got my cats in immediately and did everything they could to make sure they got better. I am so glad that this is the vet offices my animals go to.

I absolutely love Park Hills and Dr. Buckley! I have been going to them for 7 years. They are always friendly, happy to see my pets, and do a great job with any of my concerns. I will not go to any other vet other than Dr.Buckley. ♥️

We have been going to Park Hills Animal Hospital for 12 years. The staff there is great from the doctors to the vet techs to the front desk employees. In November 2023 we had to put our almost 20 year old cat to sleep and everyone there was amazing especially Dr Buckley. Our other 2 cats go there as well and I always recommend PHAH.

The doctors and staff at Park Hills are so awesome and caring. They treat your pet like they were their own. We will not take our pets anywhere else. We recently moved about an hour away and I will drive all the way to see this great staff.

Buckley, Collette, and Norma are amazing folks!
They have always been upfront and detail oriented with our needs. They are busy because they are the best. Dr. Buckley a special thanks to you as well for fixing my boys eye. He looks great and is much more happy. Your communication never ceases to amaze me! She calls even after hours to stay up with everyone's care and is more than happy to take the time to address concerns. Thanks Park Hills Animal Hospital from Matt and Riggs! Woof!

I was a client of PHAH for a decade, and I hate to have to write this review. If you have a chronically ill pet that needs case-management, do not go here and especially do not allow Dr. Buckley to care for your pet.
They run too tight of a schedule and are too busy to really do anything other than provide basic check ups, run tests, and give vaccinations. Dr. Buckley is too busy and too stressed to care for a chronically ill pet. She never called me in a timely manner, and didn't seem to be able to get back to me during normal working hours. I would get emails and text messages from her late at night.
None of this was obvious to me until I had a sick cat. Going in once a year for basic check ups was fine. But after 4 months of trying to get this place to act appropriately with a client/pet that needed proper case management, I had enough, and I left. Best decision I ever made. I'm writing this just to encourage people who have that nagging feeling that PHAH is maybe a little too busy or that Dr. Buckley (though she is a nice woman and skilled veterinarian) is maybe a little too rushed and distracted. Don't ignore that feeling. Your pets deserve better.
