The place is beautiful on the outside and easy to locate. That is about all I can say that is good about it. The decor was very overdone and cluttered everywhere you went. The owner was snarky when we showed up at 5pm on a Friday, stating, "you must be the stragglers", and then kept talking for 15 minutes about how she did an ancestry on her DNA and she thinks she's related to my husband, making us a little uncomfortable. When running into her later that night, she was a bit tipsy and chatty again. The next morning we left to go hiking early and put the Do Not Disturb hanger on our door, but when we returned, it was gone and our room had been cleaned, and our stuff had been moved around. We immediately packed our stuff and left to find a hotel in a larger town so we could be treated with some respect. This is a great place to go if you want to feel like you are staying with your overbearing Mom. I was highly disappointed that the interactions we had with the owner were so uncomfortable, and she has issues reading the room with us.

We enjoyed our stay! Karen suggested a Mexican restaurant in Glasgow, the food was spot on. The.history of this Inn and the love it took to bring it back shows. Breakfast was wonderful. Pancakes, fresh fruit, bacon, scrambled eggs. Delightful. I love the movie My Cousin Vinny, the train reminded me of the movie.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this charming B&B this weekend.
The location is ideal. Near everything. And the accommodations were just what we needed.
Breakfast was great - especially the bacon - cooked to perfection every morning!
But the best part of this B&B is the company - Karin and Gary are wonderful hosts and delightful people. We so enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast each morning.
We hated to leave and would love to return soon and spend some time rockin' on the front porch.

Beautiful and well appointed b&b. Interesting history tons of pictures and items everywhere. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. The downside is the train that comes through regularly. I was surprised especially after 10:00 p.m. that it continued at least three more times through the night waking me each time with it's loud whistle.

The inn was beautiful! We stayed for our honeymoon and loved it all. Hot breakfast every morning was amazing. Close enough to the big towns so day trips weren’t too bad at all; and right down the road from mammoth cave and the diamond caverns. Yes the train is right out front, but it was never too loud to wake you up. The hosts were super nice and check in was great. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others who come to town.

What a wonderful place to go back in time and get away. Nostalgia was everywhere. If you love the Victorian Era, go. The home was packed full of history. Gary and Karin were perfect hosts. Gary cooked a great breakfast to start our day and Karin shared many interesting facts of history with us. The beds slept well and we got a great night of sleep. The railroad tracks and train runs right in front of the property. It was fun to watch it wize by. We thought it might keep us up at night, not sure we ever even heard it at night. We met up with family there and was able to visit and play games into the night on their couches located in the hallway and the dining area.I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. We will be going back!Noteworthy details: Hospitality was amazing!
