The automated phone system is the most pitiful excuse for a system I have ever delay with. I am constantly dealing with calling my prescription in to get it filled and when i go to pick it up, (at the date and time it says it will be ready!), it is never ready nor do they show a request for anything to be refilled. I take an prefilled auto injector that is always out of stock and the store has to order it. This is why I call it in, so I will be able to take it on the day I need to but where the automated system screws it up I am always late a couple of days each time.

It's really only a place to get your medication. I went there, for convenience. To get my newborn son some diapers. They were 15 dollars for the smallest pack. Now, walmart, the same ones are 5 dollars. And if you go to the dollar general they are 6 dollars. Let's just say, don't go to walgreens if you need anything besides medicine.

I have NO problem with the employees or the pharmacy, they are GREAT! But I was COMPLETELY disappointed with their generic brand of adult diapers!!! (Certainty brand) They are SO bad. Flimsy, not near enough absorbent( & I got the maximum absorbency too). They tear apart so easily you can't get them on without the sides tearing. Or if not then as soon as you sit down or bend over. It's not that they are tight, just made so badly. Don't waste your $$ trying to buy the discount ones. You will want to throw them out. TOTAL useless letdown☹️☹️☹️☹️

I've shopped here since I was young and used their pharmacy! I now live in walking distance ,so it's very convenient. They have a wide selection of things to buy ..all from greeting cards, cosmetics and alcohol to toys, getting immunizations, filling medication and much more. The prices on some things are a little expensive. But,the employees are almost always friendly and I love shopping here!

I've been going to this Rite-aid for around a year. I was with another pharmacy and switched because Rite-aid was open on weekends and open later in the evening. A few months back the pharmacy switched to Walgreens but the store is still Rite-aid. This review concerns the pharmacy and though they switched to Walgreens the same people are employed. Lately my doctor prescribed me narcotics and with being shorted before at another pharmacy I always count them to make sure I have the right count. This month after taking my prescription to the pharmacy and being told that I could pick them up the next day because it was to early the day I dropped off the prescription, I picked it up the day I was told I could. When I got home I was missing one prescription ( a different story) but I got the narcotics out and counted them and to my surprise they were a few short. So I thought that I had counted wrong and continued to count them again. After counting them three times and coming up short I picked up the phone and called the pharmacy. One of the the women ( I won't mention names) answered the phone and I explained my situation to her. After hearing what I had to say she put me on hold for less than a minute and when she came back on the phone she said that the pharmacy's count was right and if there had been a mistake that the count would be off. She also informed me that the pills were counted three times before they were given to me, by two employees putting their initials on the bottle and the third count made by the pharmacist. After telling her that there was only one set of initials on the bottle she continued to tell me they were counted three times. She put me on hold again and after another brief moment a man came on the phone who ask my problem again as though he didn't know. He proceeded to tell me that he wasn't working the day before when the prescription was filled ( though the prescription was filled the same day I dropped it off I couldn't pick it up until the next day). He basically told me the same as the woman who I has spoken with, which was that their count was right and that there wasn't anything they could do about it. He did tell me that most doctors would write a prescription a day or two early so as to tell me that I wouldn't be over a day short on my meds this month. He basically told me I was lying or that I didn't know how to count. It's not right that the pharmacy can short you on your medication and there is nothing at all you can do about it. I had noticed that before nearing the end of my meds that some I would be short or either have more of others. I get over a dozen medications each month and I don't want to have to count each and everyone and I shouldn't have to. We should be able to walk into a pharmacy and pick up our medication and not have to count it to make sure it's all there. Which much to my surprise it doesn't do you any good to count them because if you are short, after all is said and done you will still be short, or at the very least you will at this pharmacy. I will no longer be getting my prescriptions at this pharmacy.
