I tried to order a sandwich from the cafeteria. Rather than the employee providing a positive response, he immediately said it would take 20-30 minutes to prepare the sandwich. No one was waiting for food and the staff moved like they had weights in their pants. What a sorry bunch. The Paintsville store needs a "get the job" done manager.

WAY too overpriced and don't shop there without using a Food City card or It Is even worse If you can imagine. I highly recommend getting groceries at WalMart or Save A Lot instead. You will pay much less. I used to like their donuts & muffins until I saw bugs (flies & gnats) in the case on multiple occasions. Tried to bring to staffs attention but they didn't care. Have some of the absolute rudest laziest employees of anywhere in the area.

Self checkout is now restricted to 15 items even though their self checkout is almost never full so it’s slower than it could’ve been

Shot some fireworks here on the 4th of July twice in a row, it was awesome! They had some pretty cheap and VERY exciting pyrotechnics available!

Fresh seafood, crab & lobster. I get 90% of my meat here. I always get the 5 for $20 as well because it’s something different usually and it’s stuff I can use at a good price. The produce is higher than most but it’s pretty.

Puts walmart to shame on variety but unless it's a sale time might be a bit more than you want to pay verses walmart. Walmart is mass produced therefore l9rs of excellent choices on meats and seafood. Want to go on my next grocery trip.
