I have been trying since last May to get a refund for the gas my mother bought in February of 2023 that she used for 2 weeks before she moved in with me because of health issues and passing away in March of 2023. Every person I have spoken with has told me to one lie after another. I was told 2 weeks ago that the refund check was sent out in February and today I was told that it was sent into processing this past Friday and it would be 6 to 8 weeks before I would receive the refund but it only took them 2 weeks to come pick up the tank and the 500 gallon of gas that was in it and charge a pick up fee and a pumping fee because the tank was full for a total of $125 that thy took out of the refund owed back to my brothers and myself. Pitiful customer service that is either lying to you or being rude.

-10 stars! Please don’t use them unless you’re willing to deal with a lot of headache! They filled up our propane gas, even though it was locked and closed. We’ve been asking them to remove the gas for months and months. They made multiple promises. Nothing is happening. We’re trying to sell the tank as we don’t need anymore, but We can’t get these guys To empty the tank, but no response. It’s like we are being Gaslighted.

They supply propane. Delivery guy is nice. They charge $0.57 per gallon over the going rate/spot price. If the price is $2.73 per gallon then expect to pay around $3.30 per gallon including fuel surcharge.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My mother who is 76 years old has been without propane for over a week. She called Jan. 8th for a fill at 30% on her tank she has ran out on Jan. 21st and they still have not came and filled the tank. I have called them myself and they do not seem to care that an elderly woman who just had a major surgery is without heat nor the ability to cook. They speak to her as if she is a bother when she gave them plenty of time in advance to fulfill her order. Worst company ever!

I just wanted to give a shout out to a fantastic show of customer service. April Snow was working the phones on Friday the 26th at the corporate office in Paducah Ky. After several run arounds at my local office on my delivery of propane, and out of frustation, I called the corporate office. Not expecting to get a live person, I got April. She took the time to listen to me and talk to me to explain when I could expect a delivery. It was well past the time I should have already received a delivery (22 days). We had just experienced the Snowmagedon of 2024 and everything was backed-up. I explained that I was on oxygen and couldn't just pick up and leave my house.She said she would email a manager and you could here the concern in her voice. I got a call late that afternoon from her that she had spoke to a manager but couldn't promise anyhting. I told my wife that night that I had called and this rep was different and I felt good about her. Well, the first thing Saturday morning the truck showed up. Thank you April for everything you did to help me get my tank filled. UPG should be proud to have you on the front lines.

Through some very difficult circumstances, UPG/DCC delivered in many ways. Yes there were delays, but weather and demand was off the charts. Local desk folk were stressed and stayed calm. Mr. Prince went above and beyond. 25+ year customer remains happy.

Tim Neal was super helpful and ensured to make it out to check my tank and fill it before the temperatures dropped into the single digits. UPG is lucky to such a dedicated employee that provides spectacular customer service!

When I came to UPgas as a customer, I had no idea how to get propane or installed. Tammy at Chandler Mountain UPgas is a godsend for customer service. She listens to what the issue and explains it on comprehensible level and resolves it.
She is truly an "asset" to the company.

Today 1/22/24 I am reevaluating my review due to our driver and unknowingly that we were in a bad situation. He came today and apologizing for the situation we was in. He checked everything inside the house, filled the tank and asked was everything ok. I am so grateful for Mr. Jimmy and his Honesty.
We need more understanding drivers who loves their customers and do what it takes to correct a bad situation. Thanks again Mr. Jimmy and be blessed. By the way my mom who is 85 years old has that beautiful smile back.

Talked to Miranda and explained the situation with my dad and mom’s propane on 10% during the snow days. She took my number and personally got someone out immediately that day.to get their tank filled. Awesome customer service!

If I could leave negative 100 stars this place deserves it, won't answer phones let alone return calls charged my credit card 3 times for the same charge did this 3 different days also was told the driver would be there on a certain date never showed up after taking off work early 4 days later received a phone call saying they would come out and fill our tank once again took off work early so I could be there to unlock gate for driveway and low and behold once again no one showed up, 2 weeks later received a bill in the mail for services that were never received. I called another company and they came and we're there on time and day they said they would be. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT PROPANE, but if you want a run around and charged for not receiving service then this company is for you. This place just needs to close there doors because they don't do what they are there for

I always go in person as calling in years past was problematic. Associate currently working the desk is awesome!
