Only 1 star because they were able to do payment plan for me. But I shouldn't had paid anything to begin with because if they did their job... i wouldnt have been going through what I'm going through now with the car. Plus I got the car serviced they didn't tell me the issues with engine when they checked it.. if they did I wouldn't have put money towards fixing something in car if the engine was messed up. So now because I wasted money on fixing the cars ac instead of putting that towards my messed up engine i had to volunteeraly surrender it. It would have costed thousands to fix it especially sitting for months. So never again will I go there. One simple thing could have saved me. But obviously their employees aren't trained enough to know what they are looking at under the hood.

Troy’s used to be my go-to trusted mechanic, but I’ll never give them my business again.I took my car in for a moderately loud ticking noise under the hood and rough idle, with a “cylinder 5 misfire” diagnostic error. I also let them know that the spark plugs were recently replaced at home, in an attempt to fix the error code. After supposedly looking over the car, they said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and they couldn’t hear a ticking noise. I asked them to drive it around and check it again. They called back later and still claimed there was no ticking noise but that they were now getting a cylinder 1 & 6 misfire, which wasn’t the error code that came up before. They offered to do a $450 fix to “see if that fixes it” but they weren’t sure if that was the issue. The next day, I went to go pick up the car to get a second opinion. They charged me $120 for a diagnostic test and mentioned they preferred to not work on vehicles after someone else worked on them. After starting my vehicle, I asked the mechanic to come listen to the engine noise. He acknowledged the noise after previously stating it didn’t exist. I asked him about the $450 fix. He didn’t seem too confident in his solution, but had no issue charging full price. He then started getting an attitude and walked off in the middle of the conversation. Very rude service and highly recommend going somewhere else.

Went for alternator replacement ($750) picked up car at closing but immediately realized there was a problem and returned the next day. They broke my motor mounts and left the subframe bolts loose. I told them it was vibrating real bad and engine jumping on start but of course they claim their mechanic doesn’t make mistakes. I had to go to the dealer to get verification on what happened. They short cut the job then claimed they didn’t and it cost me a lot of money. I highly suggest going to another repair shop.Service: Engine repair

First time using Troy's. If you want someone who is fair, trustworthily, and very helpful, You must try this business. Took car in for engine trouble. Was either head gasket or bad heads. After diagnosing they gave me the bad news and highly recommended that I take it back to dealer to be covered by warranty. A very special thank you to Troy's Auto Service..Services: Check engine light diagnostic

Had appointment first things in the morning, dropped off at 7:30am. On my way home walking so an older vehicle going in that direction. Later around noon called and said I was next up. Call around 1:30 and they told me it was on the rack. Walked back up to Troys at 3:15. My car was parked at the same spot I left it. Went in and asked if it was done and they said they never pulled it in, said they thought it was in the shop when I previously talked to them, which I believe was not true. The older vehicle I saw on the way there was in the shop but my car hadn’t been touched. They just seemed to act as if they could care less. Piss poor costumer service will not be going there again.

I have depended on Troy's for many years, always honest and upfront about repairs, use only OEM or equal quality parts and found Troy's mechanics to be far sharper than dealerships especially with older vehicles.
