This evening, my wife and I went to kroger to do some shopping. When we got home, my wife realized she had left her phone in the shopping cart. We live fairly close so I called the store and chad answered. I asked him if anyone had turned a phone in, he said no. I explained the situation, told him we had just left the store and that my wife's phone was in a buggy in the cart return. He then told me that nobody was allowed to walk out into the parking lot, to which I responded " you really can't walk out there for 5 seconds to see if her phone is there"? We will be there in 5 minutes, I don't want anyone to take it. Chad then hung up the phone on me. When we arrived at kroger, her phone was not in the parking lot in the buggy where she left it. I walked inside to where chad was standing behind the service counter and asked if anyone had found a phone. He then grabbed my wife's phone and slammed it on the counter breaking her screen and said " I don't appreciate the way you spoke to me". I kept my composure and walked out of the store, passing an employee who was outside in the parking lot. Chad lied, and purposely was rude to a family that literally spends thousands in that store. Just thought I would share. We will now be shopping somewhere else.

I have always hated this store. It never has the items I want and there are times that even though an item has a digital coupon the store does not honor it. Management has no clue about customer service. Today was so different because of a young man, Dylan, another store employee sent him to the back to check to see if there was any Jimmy Dean regular sausage in the back (the case in the store was empty). I really thought it was going to be a waste of time because of the attitude of the woman manager up front. But Dylan came out of the back storage area with the sausage and just made my day!!!!! He had such a positive attitude and great smile (the first I had seen in the store that evening. 4 other employees not so much). I wanted to make sure that I took the time to compliment this employee and the extra service that he provided.

they have an infestation of pantry moths. Every time i go i see about 4 or 5 if not a bunch of pantry moth nats.

Me and my Husband go into this store at least 2-3 times a week. This location and all locations in southern Illinois. Well yesterday will be my last day of giving Kroger my hard earned money just to get stopped every time we go to self checkout. My husband went in 2/14 to get some stuff by himself. It was plenty people using self checkout. The only people that got stopped was him and another Black Man. Every single time I have visit this store and use self checkout I have been stopped. We are over 40 and even in my younger years I was raised to not take from any one. I feel highly disappointed and disgusted in the behavior of Kroger. Never again!!

It says Western Union and asking the manager she says the lady is at the register, the worst customer service ever, I am a customer needng your service at WU which you claim you have, and still deny my service
This is the second store I've been to denying an annouced service.
It don't matter what season we're at, if a customer ask for help, just provide it

They have been regularly out of common items i need, deli is usually closed and when it’s open, i feel like I’m putting them out to cut a small meat order. This is the most convenient store location, i just want better.

The staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. The managers specials in the meat department was great. I was actually to buy all my supplies at a decent price with going to various stores.
