As a veterinarian myself, but one who has limited equine experience I took my own horse here and saw Dr. Abby. She and the staff were excellent, the pricing very fair for having blood work results within the hour and for seeing me on emergency and staying late too. I highly recommend them!

I'll add my 5-stars to the rest. What a wonderful person (and wife Risa, too) and an incredible vet. I drove two hours from Carbondale when the vets here failed my horse and he and his wife took care of my horse after hours when I'm sure they'd rather be doing other things after a long day. My horse stayed for 2 nights and a day while he recovered from colic/colitis. I'm thinking of moving to Paducah so I can have him as my regular vet :)

Took a horse there to see what was wrong with her giving on her back left side and after being rode for a couple hours she quivered and hunkered down when pulling saddle off. They said saddle was issue and gave us medication for left hock. $1200 saddle and $600 vet bill later along with medications for weekly then monthly injections, problem still wasn’t corrected. Horse had same exact issues. Horse was missed diagnosed. Couldn’t even get anyone from office to return calls r
