Communication from this place is absolutely terrible. I have been waiting on a phone call from this vet with answers for over a week. When I call and ask it’s always, “they are supposed to call you tomorrow” and never any phone call in return. Overall their communication SUCKS!!!

They are a great practice. Everyone there is professional, yest extremely kind. They make you feel comfortable. We have several horses we have taken there. One was an untrained young mare, and they handled her amazingly. The only downside has nothing to do with the service provided, but the access to the clinic, it's a longer narrow road where if you run into another truck and trailer coming the opposite way there's not much room to pull off. But the service makes it worth it.

Took a horse there to see what was wrong with her giving on her back left side and after being rode for a couple hours she quivered and hunkered down when pulling saddle off. They said saddle was issue and gave us medication for left hock. $1200 saddle and $600 vet bill later along with medications for weekly then monthly injections, problem still wasn’t corrected. Horse had same exact issues. Horse was missed diagnosed. Couldn’t even get anyone from office to return calls regarding issue. Took the horse to Dr Bennett in Shelbyville TN, immediately knew what was wrong. Horse had old stress fractures and weak muscles causing joints to not be able to maintain alignment. Medication and 1/2 the vet bill later horse is fixed with zero issues and no long term medication. Will not recommend this service to anyone. Worse part is my brother and his wife have been using them for a long time and do a lot of advertising for them in the barrel racing shows. Since talking with other horse folks, apparently this is not the first time issues like this have occured here.

4 hour drive did not disappoint, I’m extremely pleased with Dr Hicks being able to find and locate issues at an affordable price.
