414 Lone Oak Rd, Paducah“The employees on duty tonight, lack proper human interaction skills. By accident a iPhone was locked in the public restroom. After the employees unsuccessfully attempted to pop the lock to retrieve the phone, I went inside to see if I would have better luck. I was unable to complete my attempt because I could feel someone staring into my soul from behind. I turned around and looked over to find an out of uniform employee glaring at me. She then told me she wasn’t going to watch me tear up the door. I told her I wasn’t going to damage it, I was just going to personally attempt the task they were unable to complete. Seeing that I was not going to get anywhere with speaking to this person I inquired about a store manager. I was barely able to complete the question and another out of uniform employee rudley tells me she’s the manager. I ask what her suggestion to remedy this situation is. Still rude and unprofessionaly tells me they might be able to call a locksmith tomorrow morning. Finding this answer unsatisfactory, I ask for her manager because this cannot be how business is conducted on this property. I was barred from the property, this time at least by an employee in uniform. I had done nothing to be barred, now completely dumbfounded by the treatment I am receiving stepped outside the door to wait for my sister to come outside after providing my contact information because we might be able to call a locksmith tomorrow is not an acceptable answer for anyone, let alone someone who has been employed twenty plus years in the public relations insdustry. I walked to my vehicle to continue waiting for my sister to come outside. I called a different property, and was promptly given a district managers phone number. Mr. Powers had great personal interaction skills, helpful and friendly, willing to come to a rational solution to this situation. Sadly he was not the district manager of the property I was at. He however offered Mr. Wheatleys phone number to me. I took that and thanked Mr. Powers for all of his help. I called Mr. Wheatley who honestly could take a note or two from Mr. Powers and his personal skill set for the job. However Mr. Wheatley did have the actual manager of the properties contact information, he was able to contact the manager of the store. The manager of the property then had to contact this store to tell the employees to use the spare key to access the bathroom and retrieve the phone and actual bathroom door key that was accidentally left behind. Why could this not have been done from the very beginning before any attempt to break into the public restroom was made. I personally hope all employees look at the camera footage as I encouraged both district managers to do, and help the unprofessional not in uniform employees have a coaching experience in how things could have so much easier gone in a much better direction. All employees involved should follow how Mr. Powers conducted and handled himself and the situation.I most definitely do not give this store or its employees a five star rating. Being as five stars is the most effective way to have this review, reviewed one must do this.”

“Still the best Dollar Tree I'm this area and the largest I've been to in KY/Illinois. It's huge unlike alot of the newer stores. They have a vast selection of the everything and recently it's been stocked well. Don't like the extra $.25 but it's brought more selection of product to the store.”

“I really appreciate the staff here, I live nearby, so I frequent this location, and they are always on task and polite, and seem to be hardworking people. Facemasks required. Nice selection. Clothing options are better than most.”

Only thing I dislike is when delivery day comes there are many boxes, things all over the store and it is hard to navigate.. BUT if the products don't come the be store would be an empty mess. And we would not like it..”

3440 Lone Oak Rd, Paducah“Dollar General is great for in depth shopping it just a quick run and grab shop. I often end up running to Dollar General instead of convenient stores. Due to price and availability of products. Easy to get my wheelchair in and out of store, down all aisles and around the store in general. Staff are always friendly and quick to assist me when needed.”
“Surprisingly tidy, this was a good shop today. I had no problem walking the aisles and not having to dodge merchandise on the floor or carts loaded with stuff waiting to be shelved. The reading glasses display had what I needed and so after I grabbed a new pair of readers, I took a look at the cups and glasses. Now I have a new water bottle. The kids today call it a "hydroflask."”
