- Paid on-time for years-Started making extra principal payments-Truist stopped accepting the direct payment for monthly balance- No notification-Truist charged late payment EVEN though they received >$2000 in EXTRA payments-Customer service rep #1, polite but couldn't resolve the situation-Customer service rep #2- extremely rude... extremely disrespectful-I will NEVER do business with this company again

Tried to do business with them. Could never get their banker Kaci to email me back on a simple question I had about the application. Tried again with no response so I tried a final time and realized I shouldn’t have to beg a lender to speak to me and went somewhere else.

I have been a customer of BBT for many years - since the bank opened as Broadway Bank, then Area Bank, then BBT and now Truist here in Paducah, Kentucky. I enjoyed a very professional and friendly relationship with employees of BBT until approximately 2 years ago. Since that time, I have felt as though I am far too often treated with disdain and disrespect. Any attempt at resolution of a problem, in my experience, is met with a defensive and unprofessional attitude. If there is an issue that arises, they prefer to believe it is the fault of the bank's customers and never its management. Sadly, for this reason, I cannot recommend BBT/Truist, or at least not our local Paducah branch. I continue to try to make the banking relationship work, but may soon have to move on!!

I have never done business with BB&T but I have with Sun Trust so I wanted to try them when I decided to refinance. First phone call was polite , and informative. Called again to ask questions and person doing home refinance was rude. I called bank office and asked to speak to manager and was told no manager in but would have person in charge call me. That was on Fri. am. I received no call, so waited till after lunch Mon and again talked to receptionist and explained why

I’ve been with BB&T for over 5 years now, I have a car loan and a checking account. Everyone is always really nice and helpful and any problem I’ve ever had has gotten resolved quickly�

Been with BB&T for year now. I'm biggest complaint is their business hours. Their business hours are not convenient. They don't even open on Saturday's. No issues with the employee's. Just their business hours.
