I needed a battery cable and after this place got the wrong part twice, I ended up paying double than the price they told me over the phone. I don't trust them and they fixed nothing on my truck. Should have ordered online & saved $100. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

I arrived in Owensboro in 99 and I've been taking my vehicles to RC Bratcher's probably a year or so after I got here. They always do great work and not expensive. When they tell me when it'll be done it's always done I really like them. He'll do good work for you and fix whatever you got.

Took my truck to them for a front brake job, they suggested I also replace the rear brakes (saying they were nearing end-of-life). I agreed, and they replaced both front and rear brakes. Returned the vehicle the next day, as the right rear wheel had started to make a noise, was hot to the touch, and was emitting a "hot" smell. They looked, but could not see a problem. Twice more over the ensuing months, I returned the vehicle as the problems persisted. Still could not find a problem, but had the nerve to charge me for these last two visits. Finally, problem worsened to the point I took the vehicle to a different garage. Sure enough, the caliper was frozen and making contact with that wheel, destroying the pads and caliper. Clearly, this is what I described to them on that very first "return" visit, and each ensuing visit. I then communicated with Bratcher's and described the problems again, along with all receipts (including what this other, competent garage discovered) giving them the opportunity to "do the right thing". They responded with an offer for 2 free oil changes, hardly reasonable for the "extra" $600+ that I've spent unnecessarily. All told, this brake job has now cost me over $$1,400. Nice folks, but will never, never, never, ever return to them for service to any of my vehicles.
