They have a dog wash bay and a large selection of dog and cat items, including toys, collars, leashes, crates, vitamins, dog food, cat food, and everything else you could need for your pet.”
“Latly rural king has been out of a lot of stuff for riding mowers, and I don't know why, and that's upsetting because rural king was Always our # 1 choice. Now we have to go somewhere else.”

1201 Nicholas Dr, Owensboro“They LOVE animals!! Out of the several receptionists that rotate and the years I've been going there, only 3 times have I ever not felt like I was walking into a hug. That lady isn't at the desk often enough to worry about. Our FAVORITE receptionist is a blonde lady who, you can tell, wants to come out and hug and love on all the fur babies. Mine always try to go over the desk to love on her. As far as boarding, out of the different employees who take the animals to the kennel area, I'd like to single out the fella. He isn't talkative, but he is the ONLY strange man one of my former pets wouldn't growl or bark at. He is a GEM!! The others are all ladies and they are ALL excited and loving to the fur babies. ?”
“The service from the employee's are pet enthusiasts as well, which is awesome to see they are very helpful and help you get on your way to get everything you need. Always check the online store first. You can get many things cheaper there and then pick them up at the store, saving almost 20% on things like pet tanks and aquariums. So it's awesome saving time and money.”

2620 KY-81, Owensboro“I always knew there are beautiful animals here needing attention and furever homes and that volunteers are welcomed. Having adopted cats here, I knew they receive veterinary care both preventive and as needed. I didn't know until this month that they have traps to loan out ($40 refundable fee when trap is returned so technically FREE). Never so happy as when their trap caught this squirrel running noisily about my attic. If you are looking for a pet, look here first. If you have free time and enjoy animals, consider volunteering here. If you are bothered by wildlife such as I was...now you know.”
“The Owensboro East location has employees that go above and beyond and are genuinely friendly. Halle has always been extremely helpful, especially when it comes to issues with the Roadie delivery drivers.”
“The staff was sweet to my dog while he was getting his nails cut. My dog fought the toenail clipping pretty hard. I was impressed with the staff's patience with him. My only complaint is that my dog had really long toe nails, and the nails were barely clipped/trimmed.”
“"To everyone considering adopting a Maltipoo puppy, I heartily suggest this location. The personnel was observant and ensured that I discovered the ideal fit for my family. They gave me helpful guidance on training and maintenance and were open about the puppy's medical history.”
