We were in town visiting my son. We have stayed at the riverfront the last 5 times we've been to Owensboro. I didn't realize there were two Hamptons. This property is older but it's clean. The parking is a little tight. The location is close to everything we needed. It is fun to stay at the riverfront but we weren't going to spend any time in our hotel so staying at the cheaper, less expensive property was the logical option for us.Rooms: The rooms are older but clean. I wish there were more plugs near the beds. I also wish that fridge would stay closed.Nearby activities: Close to tons of food and shopping.Safety: The property seemed very safeFood & drinks: The breakfast was yummy!

First time staying with this hotel, very clean, rooms are very good. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and nice. Would recommend them very highly.

Not bad for a Hampton but the housekeeping rudely woke us up knocking about an hour before checkout to seeing we were leaving. And we had just been at a concert the night before so didn't appreciate that.

If you need CPAP, take a power cord to plug in your equipment and phone chargers at the bedside. Clock and light were plugged in at the bedside. No other visible outlets.

Hotel was okay. Needs an upgrade bad. Needs to be aired out. It was clean. But needs needs some interior decorating!

The room was great!! Very clean and well put together. I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was nice. Much to choose from. The kitchen manager was pleasant. The housekeeper even left a little note saying for us to enjoy our stay. -#406.

This hotel is fine if you like staying at a race track. Nothing but car noise all night long from the highway. Asked desk clerk to change when I checked in, said there were no rooms on the front side. What’s the point of being a diamond member? Bathroom fan is noisy too. This place is a dump. Will never stay here again.

In the middle of nowhere and it is needing some TLC. The staff were nice however. The breakfast was not good at all. The room I had was run down and I could hear slams all through the night from people coming and going. The digital key/check in didn't work. Very strange. They need to go ahead and upgrade and get with the times.

Here for the GeoWoodstock event but didn't want to stay downtown. Clean hotel, friendly staff - overall good stay. Loved the downtown Riverfront area. Will be back.

We’ve stayed almost yearly for the last 20 yrs. I want to tell you, just making the reservation for Labor Day weekend, BUT, I want everyone to know that Front Desk person ASHLEY was the best. She was so patient with this oldster, trying to find an ADA Mobility room for us and so friendly and even found us a better rate. ASHLEY, WHATEVER THEYRE PAYING YOU, ITS NOT ENOUGH! Lucky for Hampton, cuz this day and age, great customer service is hard to fine. Sadly we had to take a regular room and I’ll need to bring handicap accessories, but with her fortitude, I decided to give it a try!
