We couldn’t be more pleased with our entire process of purchasing a new Honda Odyssey from Don Moore Honda in Owensboro. It began when I filled out their on-line form to make an inquiry. Within a couple minutes, I received an e-mail from Morgan in customer care. She shortly followed up with a phone call & after we spoke, she said she would have a sales person contact me. In under 5 minutes, I received a call from Chad. Chad answered all my questions, expressed a sincere interest in our trade vehicle, & quoted an out-the-door price for the vehicle we were wanting. We drove 2 hours the next day to have Ryan give us a fair appraisal of our trade. We met our friendly & knowledgeable salesperson, Justin, & decided to put down a deposit for a new odyssey in a specific exterior/interior color combination. We left, understanding it might be a couple months before that vehicle would be available. Amazingly, they were able to locate & obtain the exact vehicle we wanted from another dealer within two days. When we went to pick it up, the pricing was as previously stated, the paperwork was painlessly done, & the vehicle was spotlessly clean. Justin explained the features & answered our questions. A HUGE shoutout to the entire team at Don Moore Honda.

Hello, my name is Krystal Schmidt and I'm a physical therapist that works in town at Benchmark Physical Therapy on 54. Please read this rather long review if you're considering doing business here - I have some important information to share. I was at this dealership on 8/31/23 to try to buy a new Honda CR-V I had my eye on for a while. That morning I went in, took it for a test drive, and spoke with my fiancé on the phone and decided to buy the SUV. I told them I was going to buy it and gave them the go ahead to run my credit and get everything ready for me for when I got off work. When I returned after work they got the paperwork ready and when I asked about the interest rate they initially stated 8%! I couldn't believe they tried to pull that on me. I'm sure they were profiling me because I'm a young new college graduate that they thought they could take advantage of. I insisted that this rate was unacceptable. They proceeded to offer me a 6.99% interest rate stating that is the best I could get even if I chose to finance through Honda financial services. Well, I caught them in the lie before I signed the paperwork thankfully. A quick google search will show you Honda is currently offering a 3.9% rate for 48mo, 4.9% for 60mo and 5.9% on a loan for 70 months with approved credit, and I have excellent credit! They outright lied about what interest rate could be possible if financing through HFS. They even showed me a piece of paper that said I was only pre-approved for 6.9% through HFS! (This should be illegal) I walked away because I didn't believe them, and I'm so glad I did. The next day I was approved for every length of loan offered by HFS provided I show proof of income and offer up references. (And I would have been approved, I make enough money and I don't have many expenses right now) I'm not sure if this dealership is getting a kickback from banks for pushing for people to finance through certain banks or if they were just wanting their end of month bonus for an additional sale that night, but they lost my business for the rest of my life because of this experience. And if that is not bad enough, they also were excessively pushing expensive up-charges on the vehicle even after I repeatedly said I didn't want them, and tried to make me feel incompetent for declining. All in all if I would have signed that night I would have ended up spending an additional 10k over the life of the loan if I would have accepted that interest rate and selected the 10 year warranty and paint protection they were pushing when comparing this to the 3.9% rate I was offered over 48mo without these add ons I didn't want. I'll give them one thing they have excellent salesmen that know how to lie through their teeth without blinking and no remorse for their actions. If you do choose to do business at this dealership do your research in advance and stick to your guns. Most car companies are offering better interest rates by financing through them than banks are right now, so don't believe them if they say otherwise. Demand a written breakdown of the monthly payment and total cost over the life of the loan so you can see exactly what you are getting yourself into. Don't believe everything they say or every document they show you. Be very careful what you sign and read every line! This could have been a catastrophic financial mistake for me. Needless to say, I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I took my van in to get the AC fixed. It went from what they said was a $300 job to a $2700 job. Went to pick it up and the AC was STILL broken. They said it was working when they called us. They also said we would still have to pay for the parts and labor even if it wasn't fixed. Picking it up next week with more charges most likely stacked on. Read the customer reviews. Do NOT buy a vehicle here. This is horrible customer service and it isn't right. Very disappointed Honda. Do better.

Worst Honda dealership in the tristate, they lie, don’t do what they say, and over charge for their work they do , go to Bowling Green or Evansville this dealership is worthless!!!!

The dealer made it very difficult to buy this van. A driver delivered the vehicle to me in Florida, and the AC did not work. After repeated calls, I finally got thru to a manager who said " it worked when it left". $3000 later, I had to put in a new evaporator. Difficult dealer to work with, and impossible to recommend. This is the first time in my life that I have written a review

I visited there today. It seems most employees I saw are oblivious that there is a pandemic. I saw the blue shirted employees not social distancing and no masks. It makes me sad this is allowed and that they treat customers this way and even each other.I only saw one male have a mask on during my browsing. One approached me unmasked I ignored him. I will shop elsewhere.

A very difficult, elderly family member of mine just bought a vehicle through him and he was an absolute saint through the entire process. He was patient and kind in the face of the rudeness and monumental stubbornness that this family member gave to him.
