Branch Manager Eric Dewig refused to cash a check from State Farm stating that he had a fatal error on his system. However he could not explain what the issue was, he "guessed" it was a problem with the account it was written on...a State Farm account written on Chase bank. Then he went on to say it was because there would not be any repercussions if he cashed it because I did not have an account there. Basically, he assumed the check was fraudulent, and did not take one step to try to verify it. When I requested to speak to someone above him, I was told he was it. I do not have an account at Chase bank and never will honestly, and I will tell everyone in my business (finance) how Chase bank refused to cash a check written from one of their own accounts. I will continue to sway my customers away from any Chase bank, so that they don't experience this discriminating approach to horrible customer service. He did not even try to verify the check written from a Corporation on his bank....so very unhelpful...I'm embarrassed for Chase bank to have him representing them.

Recently, I visited this Chase bank and worked with Amy to create an account. I am writing this review to highlight how professional, personable, and helpful she and the rest of the employees were. I am confident in my decision to bank with Chase, and look forward to working with them in the future.

Chase bank does not have a working phone number for the direct line. If they do, I've not found it. They have held my paycheck since June 15th! And i STILL have not been cashed out. I've spoke with countless people in customer service and can't get a hold of ANYONE at the bank in Owensboro. I've been threatened with eviction because of this situation and i will NEVER recommend Chase Bank to anyone. In fact, i would tell them to put a needle through their eyeball then deal with Chase, it would be much less painful. ?

You're holding my Federal Tax Refund Check for twelve days. This is disgusting. It's not like the check is from a third world country. It's a United States Treasury Check. You have no reason to hold me suspect for any reason. Not that it will do me any good, but this will go on Yelp and Google reviews. I've been banking with you for at least fifteen years and you treat me like vermin. I won't be depositing any more checks with your bank.

Such a good bank, excellent card and credit options. But the service is absolutely slow. And they don't help you out when you need it
