Lyons have fixed my car before easy small job took 2 days 2 years ago... Now to this review-I had a ugly cosmetic damage and insurance was going to cover it so I made the earliest appointment which was a month out as the damage was larger and said they would be freed up 30 days out. it would take a couple of weeks. Insurance would not cover the car rental which I reminded them about 3 different times so I was paying out of pocket. Lyons had my car for 1.5 weeks and found out they didn't touch it during that time and I found out because they needed more time for repairs... I check and my car was still sitting on the same spot. I paid out of pocket for a car rental for absolutely no reason. Car rentals are expensive $600 I paid for the time I didn't have my car. If they couldn't do it fine, but to have wasted my time, and money I just feel taken advantage of. I went to go pick up my car and didn't want them to fix it anymore. When I told them I wanted to pick it up because I'm not going to pay for rentals for nothing it was a " well isn't your insurance paying for rental" I told them about the out of pocket expense at the estimate, drop off and check in. What's the point of making my appointment a month out if it's just going to sit there? My car was supposed to be ready at the end of the week at that time. Didn't even touch it.
My car ran fine, it was just cosmetic so it's not like it was a desperate situation but I wouldn't feel comfortable going back here again or would recommend them anymore

My Tundra was in a hail storm :( and I needed an estimate, so I was chatting with another company (Minor Dents) and they recommended Lyons Auto Body to replace the felt trim weatherstrip around the windows. The Tundra sits out in the sun most of the time and the felt trim had deteriorated on all four windows. I went to Lyons Auto Body in Nicholasville and they said they could order OEM or I could order after market from Amazon. He looked up the part for me from Amazon and told me to order those and he would install them for me. I ordered the parts and a couple days later took them to Lyons for installation. It took them about 20 minutes to install all four and when it came time to pay the bill they said it was FREE. I was completely blown away by their generosity and upon leaving the owner told me to have a BLESS day! So if anyone reads this review please, please, please support this small business.

I recently took my car to this body shop and was extremely impressed with the friendly service and efficiency of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The process was smooth and they kept me updated on the progress of my car throughout the entire process. But most importantly, the job they did on my car was excellent. They were able to fix all the damages and my car looked brand new when I picked it up. I highly recommend this body shop for anyone in need of repairs. I've never wrecked into anyone, but I can't stop people from wrecking into me. I've gone here twice in the last few years and every time my truck comes out flawless.Edit: My second review one year laterThis is my 3rd time using their services. Someone completely demolished my truck while it was parked in front of my house late at night and these guys went above and beyond to fix it. Truly outstanding service and returned it to me in better condition than before it was even hit. I'm blown away by how flawless it came out. Thank you Lyons Auto Body! My grandfather bought this truck new in 2003, and left it to me just before he passed away in 2014. I honestly thought this was the end for my little sentimental truck, but it lives to ride another day looking better than ever. If I could refer anyone to a body shop, this would be it.
