I've been to Family Practice Associates Brannon Crossing location twice now. The check in process felt very assembly line and impersonal and I had to answer the same questions to the receptionist, fill in questions on a tablet, answer the same questions to the nurse and then the Nurse Practitioner. I'm not sure anyone was listening. The two appointments I've had felt very impersonal and rushed. Overall, I was disappointed in the care I received.

Recommend Todd Martin APRN. Fast, efficient, same day or next day visits at Brannon crossing location. Been a patient for several years. Thank you Todd Martin. If you want an MD they are several weeks out….if sick and cannot wait and want an MD they recommend a UC facility or emergency room. Walk-in appointment scheduling more responsive than trying to schedule via phone. It appears visits with MDs are somewhat limited to around ten minutes. Multiple issues difficult to address in ten minutes. Their on-line portal was initially hard, got a bit easier after somewhat long extensive use. They decided to eliminate their PT practice, which I found to be very beneficial, professional and caring. Best wishes to PT folk seeking new placement. Todd Martin APRN five star. Overall FPA practice a three star.

I have seen Dr. Rossi, Meagan Obst APRN, an Dr. Joe. I have greatly enjoyed working with all three. They take the time to listen to me and I feel they care about my overall well being. Dr. Joe helped motivated me to lose 70lbs a few years ago just by patting my stomach and saying "its not all muscle". It needed to hear that. The front staff is always friendly and the phlebotomist always do a great job. Been going here for years and plan to continue.

I had a 4pm appt. on a Friday with Dr. Joe. First time seeing him. He is the kindest, most caring doctor I have ever seen. He took his time with me, listened, sat close to show me he was listening to my concerns. I couldn’t be more pleased and relieved to have found him!

This is the finest medical practice in Lexington. From Doctors, PA's, Nursing Asst and Admin staff, they are all fantastic.

I've been a patient here for many years. In the last few years their staff has become very unprofessional. The staff that answers the calls for medical questions are especially condescending and downright rude. I have my medical history there so I'm unable to change to a different practice. However, I do not recommend this practice to anyone else.

I’ve never encountered a more condescending and incompetent doctor than Dr. Applegate. My one appointment there will be my last.

This use to be a great office with doctors that actually cares like Ashley Rollins. She no longer works at Brannon. Now we are left with doctors that don’t care, wants to waste your money and time and make you wait hours in the office ONLY to be seen for 5 mins. I made an appointment for my husband for blood work. They had him wait for over an hour only to tell him he needs to make another appointment for blood work and gave him pain medicine that doesn’t work. He has high blood pressure and still in pain. He makes another appointment now they’re saying it’s not for blood work. I called management multiple times and even left voicemails and no call backs. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY!

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.I waited an hour and ten minutes and the assistant told me they would not see me for the physical, which is what I scheduled over the phone. I was told I needed an initial visit before I could schedule a physical, which was not told to me when I scheduled the appointment. I ended up leaving before the doctor came because it would be another 30 minutes on top of the hour and ten minutes I had already waited. When a patient is late, the doctor office makes you reschedule or charges you a late or cancel fee… when the doctor is late OVER AN HOUR, there is no accountability. This office is NOT coordinated and overbooks to churn out patients and billings.I strongly recommend you do not go to this doctor’s office. You will be disappointed and wait over an hour or more.

Each time I tried to book an appointment, I was told it would take a month or more to be seen which isn't ideal when you're actually sick, not just looking for medication management. I also needed the doctor to complete prior authorization paperwork for a medicine, but the paperwork - which can only be filled out by the doctor or their staff - never went through. I called and followed up with the office for 2-3 months, and never received a call back from anyone. Definitely would not recommend.

Most unprofessional doctors visit I’ve ever experienced. I was recommended to see Andrea Bigelow - APRN specializing in pediatrics after my son was born. At 4 days old we took him for the appointment. Andrea was amazing, everything else was extremely extremely unprofessional. We were asked to fully undress our infant in the hallway to get him on a scale - bending down to the *floor* after a c section to undress my son in his car seat. We were then taken to a room by 3 nursing assistants that seemed untrained. They incorrectly used the probe to check his temperature, incorrectly measured his head circumference, etc. The room was crowded by 3 untrained individuals that were clearly uncomfortable with examining my newborn. The exam room was also dirty. The floors had mud and dried blood on them and we were there at 8:20 am - one of the first appointments of the day. After meeting with andrea, we felt slightly better but then it got worse when it was time for his labs. We were told we could either go just across the hall to the lab for his heel stick, or they could come to us. Being in a dirty room, I was ready to get out. We were led to a tiny waiting room full of old people. Had to wait to be seen by the lab people. We were then taken into one exam room, we’re asked to “wait” while they checked to make sure that room wasn’t being used… then we were taken into ANOTHER ROOM. Very much advise against taking your kids to this practice, especially your babies. We had expected that there would be better newborn focused care, a clean environment for our new baby, and better patient care. Unfortunately ( because we very much loved Andrea Bigelow) we will not be returning.

I saw Dr. Rossi. He took the time and actually listened to my problems. He was thorough and tried to rule out everything that it could be.I would see him again.I was lucky enough to get in that day. I believe it was a last minute cancellation. The only problem was the hour wait.
