Even though what I called and asked about was a little out of their wheel house. They still offered to do anything they could to diagnose and help me fix the issue with my samsung washing machine control board. Unfortunately I wasn't able to use their service because I found a spare board for a crazy cheap price. They seen like friendly, helpful people.

NOT THE PLACE FOR VINTAGE GEAR. Or for customers looking for quality service.The repairs are solid, but my vintage gear came back with a LARGE QUANTITY of brand new nicks and dings. They even spilled something on it. Scratches appeared on the wood and on the machined switches and knobs. Deep scratches from which there is no return. I always take photos of a piece before taking it to the shop, but I didn’t need them this time. It was painfully obvious. I did not bother to confront them, as the damage is done. With brazen failures at such a basic level, I was discouraged to the point of having little faith in their ability to satisfactorily resolve the situation. Lesson learned, it’s amateur night at Doc’s Electronics.Do the smart thing and take it to the professionals at Mag Tape in Louisville.

Took in my SONY CD player with the top off. And that's because the tray would not open outward and expose the CD for removal. I removed it by hand. All else—musical play and quality—worked fine. I took it in ONLY because the tray would not eject. I then picked it up long after a month because they said it couldn't be repaired. In fact, however, they did repair the tray as it now goes in and out w/o a problem. However, now a submitted CD will not play, whereas there had been no problem whatsoever of music being produced. So what has happened here is they solved the problem I came to them for, but then created a worse problem. I'll be giving them a call, you can be sure!

Very friendly staff. Dropped off a TV to have diagnosed, a couple of days later I received a call saying it couldn't be repaired. Just my luck lol.

Had my monitor in there for over a month they still have not gotten back to me and i don't think they are ever going to don't reccomend slow service

Friendly people. However, it I took.BOSE TV in for repair. It was struck by lightning, which made it difficult to fix. I think the crew did the best they could. The only suggestion that I would make to them is that your follow up with communications and phone calls letting me know what the situation was and the need for repair could’ve been much better. It stayed in the shop for 3+ months only to find out it was not fixable.

Docs was professional, timely, and courteous. They repaired my tv and charged me a reasonable price. Couldnt be happier. TV works like the first day I bought it.I also forgot my power cord there and they mailed it the next day.10/10 recommend

I am a long time customer of their services. This team does an awesome job repairing things that no one around can repair for a very competitive price. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. What an incredible little spot in KY! Was sent here by POPS Retail for my vintage Magnavox Record Player and they had it up and running in a day. Extremely fair price for what they were able to make come back to life for my new home here in Lexington. Bought it from FB marketplace originally and was told it didn't work, but thanks to this group I have a priceless, functional record player from 1959. 10 stars.

I brought in a stereo receiver i was having trouble with the left channel when i picked it ip they said it was fixed and only needed cleaning . When i took it home and tried it out it welded the voice coil on a very expendive srt of speakers and ruined them and when i called back to complain they were not willing to stand by thier repairs. I think they must have done a poor job of checking it out. Would not reccomend doing any business with them.
