If I could give it zero stars I would!! Addicts running the hotel, filthy carpets, and rooms!! We waited damn near an hour and a half for a musty smelling, staind carpet, stains on the wall room. It was so disgusting If you're a clean person or have OCD BEWARE!!! Oh yeah they have a NO REFUND policy with no exceptions. The place is a hole in the wall!!!! A complete rip off!!! Once more before I rest my case BEWARE!!!!

Thankfully I had some throw blankets in my car. I did not feel comfortable at all using their blankets. They had stains all over. Smoking room smelled horrendous. Much better to get non smoking and go outside to smoke. The place has bit of creepy vibes.

It's a great priced hotel on a good stretch of road. There's a gas station next door and a shopping center about 7 minutes down the road on both sides. But the gem of the hotel is the staff. They are so kind, considerate, and affable. They make every guest feel like they are receiving 5 star service and keep them feeling safe. My grandmother had a stay here and it was the hotel that gave her the most feeling of safety and support. I'll be recommending Derby to everyone!

Extremely strong smell of cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room. Hard and flat pillows. Floors dirty.On the plus side, excellent shower and the front desk girl was sweet. Location good for Lexington.Old property, looks and feels it. Very high grass around the property, literally no outside maintenance being done.Would not return.

We found out on our return home that someone had taken our credit card number and tried to use it for several illegal purchases.This card is only used at hotels/motels for that purpose ,so we will be pursuing fraud charges.

The staff was great! No complaints about the room or anything! It was clean, the a/c worked great and I really appreciate everyone at Derby Inn. They were there for me during my time of grief and they were a great comfort to me. I will definitely stay there again!Rooms: Clean and quiet.Safety: I felt very safe inside my room, outside of the hotel and in the lobby.

I stayed here for 9 days. It was not fancy but it was clean. The husband and wife managers were very friendly. John and Jen helped me find restaurants in town. All recommendations were great.
