Wish I discovered this place sooner! Steven was the mechanic who helped me out airing up my tires. His customer service led me to recommend my sister get her buick park avenue fixed. They had to fix her rack in pinion steering and tie rod ends. Not onky were they fairly priced, but they were fast. We dropped off Monday, n picked it up the next day. I live in Bardstown, I will drive to Head Automotive in New haven from now on for anything my car needs. I highly recommend Steven and Head Automotive.

I had the transmission pulled and rebuilt by them. I am completely happy with all the work that was done it's been doing great for the last week and I don't think I will see any problems with it. The service was great to say the least. It's a smaller shop so not a real fast turnaround but I'm completely fine with it knowing I'm getting good work done. If ya need some work check them out.

Little to no communication. Had vehicle for 2 months to fix transmission broke motor mounts in the process expected me to pay for parts they broke which I did and they did other work that was not authorized or agreed upon without contacting me. So the price was more than what I was originally quoted. The day after I picked up my vehicle it was making a horrible noise took to my regular mechanic and the motor mounts were not bolted in place so my engine was freely moving around in my engine bay. Which was extremely dangerous and I also had my child in this vehicle that was unsafe due to the owner and mechanics incompetent work. I was told it was test driven before I picked it up. Obviously that was false.

My car was kept for 2 months to have a transmission rebuilt. Hardly no communication was made. They don’t answer or hardly ever return calls. Parts were purchased without my knowledge to fix things that were broken by them and I never authorized this work to be done considering it was extra expenses charged to me. The motor mounts were just sat in place but never bolted in. So when I got my car back after two months I had to take it to my dependable mechanic to fix and complete what was left incomplete by this business. Not only did they let me leave with a car that wasn’t safe to drive they will not answer my messages and won’t refund me any money. I drove my vehicle unknowingly dangerous with my infant child. I do not recommend this business to anyone looking for a honest and fair mechanic. I’ve reported them to the better business bureau. The pictures my mechanic took to show me how no bolts were placed in the mounts to hold my engine in place.

charged me for work that they didn't even really do. like supposed to have fixed my brake line. plus I had to pay for my car in the same shape I dropped it off 4 months ago

They did very poor service! Must depend on who you are to get anything done other reviews are very deceiving! I wouldn't take a horse drawn wagon to him. Very expensive lesson learned. Next time we deal with him will be in court!Service: Transmission
