“Our dog loves staying here! He normally gets stressed and needs meds to keep him calm when he needs to be boarded, but every time we've taken him here, he does just fine without. This will always be our first choice for boarding and grooming!”

Today all dogs were puppies and separated in several covered outdoor kennels with the nice weather.
I don’t understand the commotion below about excessive paperwork. The application is two pages and much of it is “check the box” type questions.
I think it would be irresponsible to allow an adoption without understanding the home environment, other pets in the home, and expected living arrangements for the pet.
I think Murray-Calloway County Animal Shelter does an excellent job finding good full time homes for these animals.”
“Amazing support staff that went above and beyond to help us find the perfect fit for our family. They love what they do and want the best outcome for every pet their leaves their care. The application response was super quick and they are so careful to vet adopters. They foster all of their dogs, which means they are preparing for family life as they wait for their forever person and are not stuck in a cage on site. The care our new pets received is obvious and this has helped the transition to our home. We will be back as they offer a training corse to help us get off on the right foot”
