We have been stopping in here for years on our way to and from route 75. we usually spend between $75 and $150 each time we stop a few times per month. Last night 7/7/24 our battery died after filling up our gas tank There were two men working. i asked them if they had jumper cables and if they would jump start our vehicle. One guy said he had cables and wouldn’t use his car to jump us. the second guy said his car had jumped too many vehicles and it needed a break.
The guy with the cables said he would connect to our car and try to jump it but warned he would only try once and for a short time. he was acting like a jerk from the beginning and it only got worse. he wouldn’t wait even. two minutes for the battery to charge. when my car turned over briefly but didn’t start he quickly removed the jumper cables and said they would push our car out of the way of the pumps. the older guy was extremely rude and the younger guy wasn’t as rude but completely unhelpful. after two hours of waiting for AAA they arrived and jump started the vehicle in seconds.
This experience coupled with the bad fuel we have gotten in the past and expired candy and nuts we have purchased from them, i would definitely not recommend doing business with this location.

I love this shell for real but they only get 2 stars because they can change their GAS prices but they need to change the hours as well because they haven't been open 24/7 in around a year or more! I have come by it every morning for a year and have NEVER seen it open before 5am and it makes me wonder how many people have stopped at their exit based on their advertising only to find if they want gas they have to go all the way into Berea or backtrack a mile or so to keep from running out

The gas pumps are very conveniently located, providing the quickest pay-at-the-pump fill up out of the 5+ gas stations off of Interstate 75's Exit 62 in Mt. Vernon, KY. This, along with the fact that they offer "Top Tier" detergent gasoline & a ¢5/gal discount with their rewards program, is why I prefer stopping here on my way to/from work.
