Great experience. Extremely polite and welcoming staff that works hard to maintain the beauty of this hidden gem. Special shout out to Mike for his ability to prevent any setbacks that dare to occur. Y'all rock!! And I will definitely return.Nearby activities: Located near the Kentucky country music hall of fame, well worth visiting.

Hidden of the main road, once you make it up the hill to the main office it's beautiful here. Larger park than we were expecting and a ton of stuff to do with the family! Staff was great, smiles, and interacted with the campers often. We spent 4 nights here and would stay here again.

Workers don't seem to care about customers. Park needs updating for roads/pads. Expensive for what is actually there. Grass growing in gravel, equipment left out and uncared for, and little room between campers. We had 3 feet between our slide and our neighbors slide. Poor customer service.

First time here for the Dual Sport. Campground was okay until they backtracked on their word about late checkout on Sunday. Tried to charge us a full extra night at 2pm even though I had called and discussed a special checkout at 5pm for a $25 fee. Won't be staying there again

BEWARE OF CANCELLATION POLICY. Strictest I have ever seen. If you book a weekend night your ENTIRE STAY can not be cancelled. The place is nice and convenient, however. So I can't give them just one star. If you are careful and are certain you will stay there, then it is good. Wish the owner was more customer friendly. Harshest cancellation policy I have ever experienced.

The grounds were well kept and facilities were very clean and organized. There are plenty of family friendly activities and the little store was well stocked. The Staff were very friendly and professional.

Made a reservation for one night while passing through. Had to cancel because I didn't realize this KOA is off of our travel path. Booked reservation on phone. Wasn't told reservation is non-refundable because of July 4th long weekend. Told me they are keeping entire overnight fee. Long time KOA customer. Have never been treated this way. Usually $10 cancellation fee. Reported to KOA Head Office. NOT HAPPY!

Did a short one night stay here on our way home. Fairly large park with many different kinds of sites. Employees were super friendly and helped us out by changing us to a pull through site. There is a small dog park to run your dog. Quiet and restful stay, we would recommend and stay here again in the future!

Staff were great. Very friendly. It was mostly quiet while we were there. The access road is one-way pretty steep uphill. Neighbors don't keep up with their property and the access road isn't aesthetically pleasant. Exit is a separate one-way road equally or more steep downhill with a couple of s-curves. Similar aesthetics leaving. They are very dog friendly with several bark parks and again, staff were great. It is not the most polished campground (aging infrastructure) and on the more expensive side so I question the overall value. All of the advertised amenities are there but for the price the campground could use a face lift or at least a fresh coat of paint so to speak. If you don't mind the entrance and exit hills it is fine. Good for dogs. Sites are spacious enough. Stay away from site 63 as our sewer hookup was essentially uphill and required some extra work to use.We were there for a spring shakedown trip to get the camper ready for the season and I'd use it again for that no problem. It would not be my first choice for a longer term stay but everyone is different. It is really more of a 3.5 star facility but that isn't an option for Google ratings.

Tina was so hospitable in getting us set up on our first ever camping in our new Winnie Micro FlX. Thanks so much!

I recently missed my reservation do to weather but i thought i would still stop in just to get some fresh water on our way from MI to FL since i had already paid for the night before. It was around 2PM when we final arrived but was informed check out was at 11am and the only option for water was a 25 dollar Water and Dump charge, Water only was not even an option. The park was completely empty and was only looking for 20 gallons of water but the women working stated she was not authorized to make an exceptions to let me fill my water. No worries, I got water someplace else and they got a no sale and poor review. I hope this review helps the owners empower their employees to make zero cost decisions to spread good will and prevent upset campers. As you can see they were not super busyUpdate. Owner called and took accountability. 5 stars for doing that.

We stopped here to get out of a winter storm due to its close proximity to I-75. Be warned that there is a steep hill with a sharp bend to enter the campground and even with a capable 4 wheel drive I struggled to get into the campground. And once turned off the main road it was too late to turn around and impossible to back out. Once at the top of the hill in the campground we were essentially stuck there as the campground was not able to clear the road adequately to leave while towing. The road exiting the campground was equally as steep with 2 sharp S bends. The campground should not have taken reservations or warned campers prior to arrival of the difficult entrance and exits. Additionally, when making the reservations, the KOA website stated there were only 2 sites available but this was not true as the campground was empty and this was misleading. This was my first experience at a KOA and will likely be my last.
