“KC Grocery and Video is a small country store, next to the Kite, KY Post Office. The owner and staff are friendly folks.They have a variety of soft drinks, including Sprecher Gourmet Soda, and they also have Climax Mountain Spring Water.”
“I'm from SC and have never been a fan of IGA until I moved to Hi Hat several months ago. This is a great little store within 10 miles of my home with the most friendly and helpful staff. I recently had surgery and cannot lift more than 10 lbs, the staff has no problem loading what I need into the buggy and into the car all while wearing a huge smile and a great attitude...I really appreciate that! Yes it's limited in selection and a little pricey but they have a great meat dept, the produce is fresh, the digital coupons help quite a bit and considering that the closest Super Wal-Mart is Paintsville or Pikeville, I have quickly become a fan of my McDowell IGA!!!”
“I stop in while in Knott county visiting. I like it because there's a certain amount of nostalgia shopping grocery stores like this. They have a great selection of quality items although the prices are higher than anywhere I've shopped in Lexington.”
“Love that's there fresh produce. Store is always stocked well. Large variety of items. Big parking lot. Employees need to smile a little more to seem friendly but they are quick and efficient moving lines at the register. It's my go to store for low prices and more choices in the area.”
“This review was for MCDOWELL IGA......The people who work here are incredibly nice and helpful, they help pack groceries to the car when needed. There is a game section for kids and a delicious bakery with hot meals available. They do amazing work on birthday cakes and yes they have the licensed theme cakes as well, everyone goes above and beyond for any and all customers!”

“Has gas, groceries, and hardware all into one store, you can't beat it..so if ur around the are no better place to stop at than here oh yea they are also a restaurant!!!”
