This shop is a true gem, as are Judy and her staff. You rarely find places like this anymore, in our "hurry up" world where so much of what we purchase is disposable. On our first visit, when we walked inside, we immediately felt it was a magical place & we were not disappointed. Later, upon learning the history of Crittenden Rawlings, we were even more glad we'd decided to visit. Our only disappointment is in knowing that we never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Rawlings and hear his wonderful stories. My husband will treasure every piece as he adds to his closet.

Absolutely lovely place and clothing. I’ll never forget getting fitted by Critt. He took the time to tell me about his designs (the hidden money pocket story always sticks in my mind) and how to build a functional, cohesive wardrobe. As a young professional at the time, the information was invaluable and continues to serve me well. Pieces from his store are referred to as a Critt fill in the blank(pants, jackets, shirt etc) in our household.The store has become a destination. I find myself waiting to fill a slot in my wardrobe so I can shop in person just to interact with the amazing people here. Can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely the sweetest staff and most beautiful textures! Such a lovely store that is reminiscent of a quaint British clothier. The jackets are uniquely tailored of the most beautiful fabrics you will find here in the states. I can't wait for my next visit.

Crittenden fills the void…. Having lived the last 25 years in Washington DC and NYC, I primarily purchased clothing from Brooks Bros. Their inventory offers very limited choices these days. Was thrilled to be told about Crittenden. What a joy!

If you want a truly unique experience shopping for men's clothing you must visit Crit Rawling's shop in downtown Midway. He uses the finest fabrics and designs the clothes he sells along the classic lines of English sporting attire. Crit is a true gentleman with exquisite taste and endless stories to share. A treasure of Bluegrass Americana. Most highly recommended.

Crittenden had me sized perfectly within ten seconds of walking in the door. Everything is unique, classy and bespoke. As far as men's fashion goes, this store is luxury at its finest. Crit has over sixty years experience and yet still manages to make you feel at ease.

Happened upon this place during the Midway Chocolate Stroll. Couple managing store were extremely friendly. Lots of selection here. They have a great selection of ties and bow ties. They even have cashmere ties, which is a rare find. Looking forward to taking my brother back just for the tie selection.
