Love Buff City Soaps!! My favorites is the lemongrass + eucalyptus (smells sooooo good) and oatmeal + honey shea (great for my eczema and sensitive skin).

The scents are amazing but the staff was rude and kept muttering under their breaths. It seems they did not want to help and they were just trying to rush us out the whole time.

Today was my first visit to this store, and I'm so glad we stopped in. The store is gorgeous and smells inviting from the moment you walk in. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We were enamored with all the options to customize their products. I left today with soaps, gifts, and laundry products that all have clear and simple ingredients. I look forward to my next shopping trip!

Great products! Unfortunately they seem to be out of everything. Also don’t expect friendly customer service. Probably the rudest and most uncomfortable experience. You pay so much for these products and they just make you feel like you’re an inconvenience.

I get the narcissus hand soap for my kitchen sink and bathroom, and now the laundry soap. It's about $20 for a tub, but if you keep the plastic tub for refill, it's eco-friendly and you get $1 off each refill. Use the detergent with cool water, not hot, so the soap oils can do their job, so I'm also saving on hot water when I do laundry, too.

The employees at this location could learn a thing or two about customer service from other locations. Promised my kiddos we could go make a bath bomb after running errands plus, I needed to purchase more laundry detergent. We weren’t near home so decided to go to the closest one to us at the time (Middletown) before everyone fell asleep on the way home. It couldn’t be anymore obvious they did not want to stop what they were doing and be bothered with us. It was the most awkward and tense interaction ever and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I was so disappointed in the customer service, or lack there of that I didn’t even want to purchase my laundry detergent from them.

I truly love Buff City Soap products. They smell great and every product does its job the way it’s described to. My laundry always smells great and my skin is radiant. I’ve used BCS laundry soap for over 2 years and have not and never will I go back to using or buying commercial laundry soap again. For my skin, from the oils, bath bombs, scrubs, whipped cream etc, they’re all wonderful!! I love the Middletown store bc the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. From the manager, asst manager and the whole staff, love them all!!

Love the smell when I enter the store since it is not too overwhelming. There are many choices to choose. I will come back to get few more since I love their bath bombs.

Sad that I idid not visit this store sooner which is about 1 mile from my residence in Middletown. So many great products and scents to choose from. Congenial staff ready to answer all questions and allow customers to appreciate the myriad of products and smells. Easy access off Shelbyville Rd just before the I-264 junction.

Came in today (Black Friday no less) and was greeted readily by three very friendly girls running the place. Went to buy a gift set for a Christmas present and was quickly introduced to a perfect option. Clean store and smells terrific. Will be back!

This review is not for the wonderful smelling soaps, lotions and bath bombs. But instead for the lack of customer service. Not a hello, not a what can I help you with, not a let me tell about the deals. Mind you we were the ONLY customers in the entire store with 3 employees. Literally the only time we were spoken to was to ask if I was a Loyalty Member. Thank goodness my primary store is not this location. I have been raving about this store to my mother and now she doesn’t want to return due to the rudeness of the employees. I DO NOT plan on returning to this location.

Update Review-Heard the store in Middletown has new staffing.Visited during the July Sale- new staff and appeared to be new management! great experience. The gentleman who assisted me was great - he appeared to be training another associate but was able to help everyone in the store adequately. The whole feel of the store has changed ! Great work Buff City!Love this product and brand! Shopped at St Matts location. When Middletown opened I started shopping there. Past two week in a row. I have had a horrible experience with the same associate at the Middletown location. I will not be back. I will drive to St Matts.Pretty sure the manager of this store observes her associates horrible interpersonal skills which I would not even reference as any apart of customer service. So disappointing from what could be such a strong brand with the right people in the right roles.
