Camp here often in summer. Only 2 complaints. The toilet at C loop is always awful. The bathhouses need cleaning better and need more electric hookups. Random primitive sites kinda suck when the ones next to them have electric.

Took my dogs and my new/old RV on it's maiden voyage for 3 days mid-week and it was perfect. The attendants at the grounds were friendly and helpful, the campground was clean and quiet and nice, and other campers were kind; everything was serene. The RV hookups for electricity and water were great, and the gravel campsites all seemed level, and had good sturdy benches, fire pits and many with a big tree for shade. I used their shower facilities onsite and it was basic but clean and comfortable. We can't wait to come back! Thanks LB!

My family and I absolutely love to camp. We’ve been camping in Laurel Branch for many years now. This is by far one of the best campgrounds in the area the park attendant up front. Mrs. Angie is truly amazing. She is one of the reasons that we come to that campground. The campsites are very spacious and clean.Laurel Branch is by far the best place to take your family camping, I highly recommend it to everyone.

Typical campground BUT there should be more than 1 shower house and more than 1 dumpstation. There is a small restroom in the C-D section but no shower. The shower house and the restroom could use a little maintenance and attention. Other than that, we still love Laurel Branch campground. C36 is a great site right on the water with an amazing view. Playground for the kiddos close. There is also a beach within walking distance. In the A section, there is a walking trail that is kinda cool.

It’s a good place for swimming. If bringing dogs. That’s where they get the low star. People will report your dog is off a leash and they are not. Cop will say they can be off leash at the site, 1st ranger will come say the same. Then the 3rd one will come saying all those first two people are incorrect. 3 people in the same night. 2 say the same thing, then the next comes in all rude and says he’s basically the only one that knows the rules !

Loved everything about this location, easy to load the kayaks in at the beach, though.. we would have loved a ramp ;-) the lake is beautiful, and it was fun to wave to everyone on their pontoon boats!

Great area for camping right on the water! Can swim and fish right there. Campsites are nice and well kept, and most have trees for shading. The bathroom in the area is not good though.

The one downside is that some sites have mercury lights on or next to them so at night it never gets dark.Restrooms: The restrooms were clean.
