Road Ranger is a truck stop that may not look like much on the outside, but offers a surprisingly pleasant experience for weary travelers. The parking lot is a gravel lot located off to the side, with some minor bumps but generally fine for trucks. While the lot can get a bit messy at times, it is usually kept clean enough. Inside, the store has a standard gas station setup, with no hot food options, but DoorDash is available and there is a nearby Walmart if needed. The highlight of the stop is the staff, particularly an employee named Jamie, who manages to provide a warm and friendly welcome despite the somewhat drab surroundings. The showers, while functional, are a bit rough around the edges - one reviewer describes Shower #2 as "The Place Where Trust Goes to Die." Cleanliness is subjective, so seasoned travelers who come prepared will likely be fine, but those seeking a pristine spa experience may be disappointed. Overall, Road Ranger may not be the fanciest truck stop, but it makes up for its shortcomings with a genuinely kind staff and the essentials that weary drivers need. As one reviewer summarizes, "This place isn't a truck stop. It's a life lesson in letting go of comfort."
Lots of parking usually... lot is always dirty though (trash and piss bottles everywhere). Store is usually clean but almost always out of things (Creamer for coffee, paper towels in restroom etc...). Staff members are friendly.

I wish I knew the guy’s name but he was very friendly and kind. Parking may be small but it is better than none
