Not clean, too small for animals that were there. Don't know if any of the individuals that were there were employees or not. Why is main entrance kept locked

The ladies working were nice and knowledgeable. The shelter should see about getting facilities help for clothesline, more parking, someone to scoop poop, and more sanitary smell inside there and around the building.

Very proficient even though it may seem like a pain for their background check but there's reasoning behind it to protect the animal that you're adopting

These poor babies are over crowded in here! Please consider adopting a lifelong pet. They need loving homes. If adopting you will have to fill out a paper with two references and if you have had any animal before they want to see the vet records on them. My sister adopted a pup. $200 and that gets all their shots and their spay or neuter. Plus a microchip.

We went to give treats and love to the animals. The woman there acted like that was completely foreign, like it was so unheard of for people to want to give these animals attention. She told us not to touch the animals, and there were signs everywhere saying not to touch the animals. She allowed us to look at them, but imagine wanting love and attention and people walking in but just looking at you and not giving you any attention. That’s horrible. I pet them anyway because screw that. The place absolutely reeked of urine. Like we left 20 minutes ago and my nostrils still burn. These poor animals get no socialization and it smells like they’re never let out or walked. They were sitting in their own urine. They have several animals that appear aggressive… probably because they’re never allowed to interact with people so they’re afraid. It’s just a recipe for disaster. You never let them interact with people, then you send them to a strange place with strange people… You’re setting them up for failure. We felt so terrible for these animals. I wish we could have adopted them all. These animals deserve so much more. I will say the dogs appeared well fed, and I’m happy about that. I’ve just never seen a shelter that doesn’t appreciate their animals getting attention, and I’ve definitely never walked into one that smelled so horribly. If you’re looking to adopt, please adopt from here. These animals deserve a safe and clean home.
