“The family that now owns Robinson Grocery needs a trophy! They're always there and they're always SO friendly and SO helpful. You can see it--they want this business to thrive and they are willing to put in the work to ensure that happens. I will intentionally avoid stopping at other stores in clay county if I know I'll be near Robinson's during my trek. In my opinion, hard work, honesty, friendliness, and fair prices is what makes a business appealing, and they exceed that.On a side note, I did witness some local guys roll into the store and say TERRIBLE (and very racial) slurs to the owner of this store. The customer was being rude and demanding that the price was wrong because "the screen was black when he scanned the product", but in reality, it was obvious the customer was some self entitled biggot who was very prejudice and racist. I watched as the owner listened to the customer's rude comments in stride and continued to offer whatever information the customer needed to feel confident the owner wasn't "ripping him off". So sad that businesses (and people in general), of other ethnic backgrounds, are put in a position where their friendliness and drive aren't even considered by someone due to their ethnicity.”
