The Lodge at Mammoth Cave is an amazing and wonderful national park lodge, providing a perfect and easy place to stay when visiting the cave. Guests can stay in the Historic Cottages or Sunset Terrace. The cottages are petite, rustic, and a small walk from the parking lot, but are comfortable and exactly what is needed, with outstanding beds, great AC, a shower, and a mini fridge. The entire experience is very comfortable, with spotless rooms and extremely comfortable pillows. It is a quick walk from the Visitors Center and tour spots, which makes the entire experience easy. The lodge is well-developed, with a really nice restaurant and a Starbucks in the visitor center. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and gracious, and check-in and check-out are very easy. The price is considered a best part and totally worth it. However, some services like restaurants and gift shops can be unavailable at times, and a bathroom stall door was noted as problematic for a wheelchair user. Overall, it is a comfortable lodge that exceeds expectations.
