“So they have a good variety of sandwiches and other meals they will put together for you here. This is a place that has been in business here for almost 50 years which is really saying something. I had been looking for a butcher, it is important for me to know where my meat is from, and when it got there. Also the church I went to spoke very highly of this place and I was at the chefs table, where the real critics gather.”

“Hi Publix!!! Just dropping in to say I love you and glad you're here to kick Kroger's a$$! Can't wait for your expansion and complete takeover of the grocery markets in Louisville and Lexington. Kroger doesn't care about it's customers or employees so shopping there is a misery. Publix is hands down superior in service and cleanliness. I like that you're employee owned, it means everybody is happy to be there, unlike greedy Kroger. Publix deserves more than 5 stars. You remind me of Florida vacations and excellent grocery stores??”

“I live near the Aldi on S. Hurstbourne Pkwy. I head there with my grocery list and buy what is available, usually 90% of my list. I have been shopping at this Aldi for over a year now and have only been disappointed once in anything I have bought. That was a blender that I was going to use to make fruit slushies. Brought it home from the store and let it sit around the house, still in the manufacturer’s box, forgetting I even had it, for several months.Eventually II opened the box and began trying to assemble it according to the Instructions. No luck. I got it together but it wouldn’t run. Had my husband try; same result.Although I knew it was a longshot after all these months, I mentioned it to a store employee recently when I was in there shopping. Fully expected him to say that I had waited too long.I was stunned when instead, he said “As long as you have your receipt you can bring it back anytime.” That is some very fine customer service! It made me feel like I was an appreciated customer!I look at fruit and vegetables carefully at all groceries before putting them in my cart and I’ve never been disappointed at Aldi. From the meat department, I buy mostly chicken, pork, and seafood.. All if it has always been excellent. The biggest chicken breasts I have ever seen!Because it is not a huge store, Aldi simply cannot stock everything a Kroger, Meijer, or Walmart does. So I do have to follow up getting 10-15 items from one of the big grocery stores, which I order online and my husband picks up. I should mention here that you can also order and pick up at Aldi.I have not said nearly enough about how good the food items from Aldi are. I am reluctant to mention how delicious the reduced-sugar peach ice cream I bought a week ago was. And again this week. Honestly, the best I have ever had. My husband agreed. And like everything else in the store, very reasonably priced.Aldi stands out with their fresh fruit and vegetables, huge cheese selection, and baked goods. The end of year holidays are a lot of fun there, as they have many special food items imported from Germany during that time. My husband is a fan of their stollen, among other things.Please be assured you will not have to stand in line to check out any longer than necessary. Every single one of the checkout clerks moves so fast, you can barely see their hands! But like every other employee, extremely helpful and well mannered.I had no idea when Aldie first came to town that I would like it as much as I do. And I can’t tell you all all the reasons I like it in this short space. I haven’t even mentioned how great their prices are. You simply have to shop at Aldi a few times yourself and see what you think! It is a little bit different kind of store. You should it a chance!”

“I just left Kathmandu Kitchen around the corner and was thinking about a dessert to take home when I saw this market. I saw the word bakery so we went inside to see what they had. There is a deli and International groceries, gifts and more. I enjoyed speaking with the owners from Armenia, Alik and Arina. They are so nice. My wife and friends and myself picked out some pre-packaged cookies and cake which we enjoyed back at the house. I wish I lived closer to this store, but will visit again when we dine at Kathmandu again. We come over from Jeffersonville, IN. There was a nice room in the back for private parties and a bigger room upstairs for Bigger parties. Arina told us she was preparing for a wedding coming up. It is so cool to have an International store like this in the neighborhood. The deli items looked fabulous. I may need to take some home when I get over there again. I didn't recognize any familiar items in the store. It was like being in another country. Alik gave us a sample of some peanut butter and chocolate mousse he makes. I bought a pound to take home. I'm glad he gave us a sample, else I wouldn't have known how good it was. This is a store worth checking out when you get time.”

“It is a grocery store. Prices are normally a little cheaper here. I go to the one on present and outer loop. Got to be careful at the one on outer loop. Because people will come up to you your car and what money.”
“I love the atmosphere of the place and the smell OMG AMAZING!!! What I wasn't comfortable with was the looks from some of the workers and the lack of customer service that was given. I don't want to say it's because of my race because it would seem typical but it sure didn't make me not feel that way when you're super friendly and smiling until I walk up. Just an observation. But I can't take away from the store itself. It's really that great.”

“Came in today and everyone was lovely, got some soup noodles, fudge, dried kiwi and payaya and asked about the citrus trees, whcich the young lady watering said would be out in a few weeks. The deli staff was very attentive as soon as I walked up. I will definitely be back. The herbs they had for sale were so healthy.”

“I absolutely love shopping at Meijer’s by there’s ONE thing that I wish you would consider changing about your store? I wish you would put in a dressing room so we could try on our outfits to make sure we want them before we purchase them.
I live a little farther away from your store and it’s hard for me to return my purchases because once I get them home they don’t fit as well as I would have liked.
I realize that adding a dressing room would mean adding more employees but I believe it would also increase your sales. I have answered my share of questions from other shoppers who meet up with in the store and they ask me while they’re hands have clothes in them, “ Do you know where the dressing room is? “ and unfortunately I have to tell them that you don’t have one and I explain that I take my clothes home if I really want them and return them if they don’t fit or I change my mind once I get back home, this particular lady with all the clothes in her hands dropped the clothes in her cart and told me that she was from other state and walked away!
Anyway, a dressing room would be a HUGE investment for your store, Please consider it, my husband would buy more clothes from you if he could try the clothes on right away at the store!
That’s my only concern with the store otherwise I Love you store.

“I'm learning Asian cooking and there weren't any really good sources where we live. The reviews of Oriental Supermarket were very positive so we gave it a look. The reviews were correct! They have a great selection and Jay, who is trained as a chef, was extremely helpful in helping us locate the items we needed and answered all the questions that we had. We will definitely be coming back and I can highly recommend Oriental Supermarket!”
“I love going to the store i went to your store Friday, March 23 for some ground chuck. When I got there, you only had 2 lbs and I wanted 5. I asked the butcher, white coat tall and slim, if there was more in the back. He seemed a little irritated and said they would grin some would take about 10 min. When I came back he had wrapped it in one large bag. I asked why didn't he wrap it individually and he said I didn't ask. But he didn't ask me either. He seemed put off again because I said that so I took the 5 lbs and left. I'm just now writing the review because I thought about it and I have never been treated that rudely at your store before. I hope he isn't going to your new Brownsboro store.”

“Classic TJs experience! Well stocked, super kind employees, not a lot of space to shop because of crowds but still enjoyable, and a great fresh flower selection in the front.”
