DO NOT MOVE HERE! I've been here over 6 years and while I like my apartment management leaves a LOT to be desired. This is a senior community with no on site manager. Instead there's another tenant here called a "monitor" who has keys to everything in the building including other tenants apartments. She's been in my apartment stealing and tried to set my apartment on fire. I've constantly tried to address it with management but have been ignored. Just before Thanksgiving I told other tenants to get cameras for their apartments bcuz the cameras around the property are not for our benefit. The manager Rachael thielemann told me to shut up. When I wouldn't she threatened me with a 15 eviction. Since then she's been on a campaign of lying on me & harassment of me & my family. She's filed an eviction based on lies saying I haven't paid rent when in truth I paid rent and she returned my checks with letters saying she wasn't excepting my rent. She tried to have my son's car towed over a flat tire when there are cars with 4 flat tires and all the windows busted out. Another car here hasn't worked in over 4 years. She's accused my son of breaking in my car (he has keys) when she had never seen my son. As long as she's a part of ANY management position my suggestion is to pass that business by. She's bad news. Liar, thief and all around trouble maker. At the moment she works for beacon management and when I wrote a previous review about the things going on here on their FB page my post was taken down. I have proof of every accusation I'm making. There are other tenants here who are aware of Rachael thielemann & Anola Hamptons going one but have been bullied into silence. Before myself everyone who has addressed these things have gotten evicted like myself. Anola Hampton has weaponized her relationship with management in that if she doesn't like you or gets pissed at you for whatever reason you'll start getting threatening letters from management soon after. Until things totally change around here my suggestion again is to pass zion manor right on by. I've even tried to address the situation with the church who owns the property and the minister is hands off and unavailable after our first conversation. They've recently opened a zion manor 2 a few doors down and Rachael is the manager there as well. It hasn't been opened long enough yet to speak of mismanagement there but I have no doubt that with Rachael as manager its just a matter of time. Also Dare to care comes here once a month and instead of the food being distributed to the tenants like intended Anola Hampton makes boxes for the managers making the boxes intended for tenants short. The dare to care people have complained about that as well but its not being addressed

This is a newly built apartment building for people aged 55 or over. I did not get to view the inside of the apartment building, but the exterior of Zion Manor was very attractive and had nicely placed landscaping. I believe this one of two Zion Manor apartments are part of the new housing built just west of 9th street replacing the old apartments that had been there for years.

A nice place for Senior Living. Secure entry into the building. Apartments are a perfect size for single and married occupants. Elevator service avaible There are three (3) floors to this complex with an extremely clean lobby and community room on the first floor. In each unit the bedroom/s and bathroom are slightly larger than most others I have visited elsewhere.. The open concept makes the kitchen, dinette, and living room appear larger than what it is. Occupants who live in Zion Manor are a friendly community of people who look out for each other. If you are fortunate enough to live there, you have made a great choice?!
