I love this trail personally. It is nice and a good workout. Many said they liked it second to RRG. In this case I would say you should try the Knobstone Trail in southern indiana.

The best ridge hiking and great place for some elevation gain in the area. Usually not too crowded, save a few UPS fly-bys.

Got to enjoy a pre-backpacking exercise trip along Siltstone Trail my whole body was ready except for my shoulders. The trail it self was well kept and very clean. Tom Wallace Lake is technically but was rushed on time and didn't take any other pictures of the trail that is on my to do for next time.

Great trail. Follows the ridge for significant sections. Full of chestnut oak on the tops of ridges and other notable tree species.Make sure you bring tick repellent. Came back with 100s of juvenile ticks on me in August.
