I normally don’t do reviews unless it was just an horrible experience .. I had an appointment for 11:15am today .. I was not seen until 12:45 .. To make matters worse the dr wasn’t trying to answer any questions I had concerning some trouble with my left eye. I finally get to the check out part of the visit and get my glasses all figured out and Mieka or however you spell it took her sweet time calling me over to her station because she was too busy on her phone and talking to her coworkers. I sit down and she is just so rude and nasty and not being helpful at all. I have been going to the location since they opened and I will NOT be going back for any future eye needs. The only nice and professional person in that entire place was the lady who did the puffer and house test. I am just appalled and feel very disappointed in a company I have grown to love. It’s a shame

I loved the treatment and professionalism with which they treated me, they responded to all my concerns and the attention to my vision was the best, thank you very much

I’ve been coming to this place to get my eye exams, glasses and contacts since I was 10 years old. Lately everyone here is so rude, unprofessional and unorganized. And they never answer the phone. I called 8 times yesterday trying to make an appointment to get my eye exam and then called 4 more times today, no one answered ever. I dread having to come here but its the only location near me that takes both my insurance (not that it helps much considering how extremely expensive this place is as if being able to see is a luxury.)

Avoid! 3 months and still no glasses. First, prescription was wrong, re exam, then glasses scheduled for 3 weeks later (Jan 9), as of Jan 12 the order moved to “pending”. Called manager, she then explained my prescription wouldn’t fit in the lenses selected so they had to change and I would receive a $40 refund. I asked what’s the difference in the other lenses and she said absolutely 100% no difference at all. I doubt that’s true but if it is, why was I sold lenses that are exactly the same for $40 more? Here’s the best part, since they had to change lenses, I was put back in regular que and now have an expected completion date of Feb 3rd. Literally 3 months and I have no confidence they are going to be right. Terrible experience and communication.UPDATE! 1/29/24- the efforts in the response below never happened. I’ve sent 4 emails over nearly 2 weeks to get ZERO response. Completely unacceptable

This is easily the single worst experience I've ever had at an eye doctor.Made a 10am appointment online. Walked in at 9:55am and neither of the girls at the desk would look up. No greeting, no nothing. But there was a sign on the desk that said "Online appointment? We're ready for you!" with a QR code. So I scanned the code and it had me fill out the pre-exam questions that I had already filled out when I made the appointment. At 10:30am, after noticing people who came in behind me were being called back, I went to the desk and was told that I should have signed in with her when I got there. I literally stood in front of her for 3 minutes without being addressed, but I suppose that's my fault. So I checked in and still waited an additional 30 minutes. At 11:07am, 67 minutes after my appointment time, I was brought back. The doctor made a comment about me being "the first person who speaks English" which, even if true, felt a bit racist and unprofessional. The girls who run the machines before you see the doctor were awkward and spoke to me like I was a 6 year old.But the worst part is the price. They charge $150 for non-glare -- this is $40 at America's Best, which is where I went for 5 years when I did not have insurace. To compare: I picked out 4 frames. Non glare on all three. My insurance covered 1 pair of frames and the eye exam. They told me it would be $650.At America's best, I always got 4 frames, non glare on all 4, and an eye exam, without insurance, for $450.So I cancelled the extra 2 frames. Just took the one pair that my insurance covered and begrudgingly let them rip me off for the non-glare. I took my Rx to America's best the next morning. Got my additional 2 frames with non glare for $170. And since I'm wearing a pair of 3-year-old America's Best frames right now, I have no doubts about their great quality.Literally gonna cancel my vision insurance because being forced to go to VisionWorks is somehow more expensive than when I was uninsured.

This is the most unprofessional group of people I have ever encountered. I can't even get a simple refill for my glaucoma eye drops that I definitely need so I don't loose my eye sight. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THEM EVER

Avoid this place. Go anywhere else. My biggest complaint is their lack of communication. It led to me wasting so much of my own time, even though the interaction I actually got with the eye doctor-you know, the part that counts-was short. I originally made an appointment online. I needed to change the timing. I couldn't find an easy way to do it online so I tried to call. No one ever answered the phone, so I just rearranged my plans and went. The appointment itself was super short. The doctor had me read some letters and pick between 1 and 2 like usual. Got my prescription and ordered my contacts. Fast forward, I get a text/email saying my order is ready for pick up. I take the time to drive to their store. Turns out, it's a single trial pair they had for me to pick up. My contact order is actually being mailed to me. Ok. Fast forward and I'm ordering glasses from Warby Parker. I need my eye glasses prescription. I call them to see if they can send my that to me. I waited for them to pick up the phone for 20 minutes. So if you need to call them, be ready to wait. Turns out, THEY CAN'T EMAIL ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE AN EMAIL. It's 2024. What?!?! So I have to take the time to drive in and pick up that prescription. Luckily I asked specifically if this is all I need to get my glasses ordered because they forgot they also needed to measure my pupillary distance. Anyway, I'll find a new place. Consider yourself warned.

The customer service I experienced in person here was not bad it is a very chaotic office, however my biggest issue is they do not answer the phone. An occurrence to where you need to speak to someone via phone call I will say beware. I called this office to order contacts over a 4 to 5 day span throughout the days multiple times and never an answer. Finally I did receive an answer and was put on hold and hung up on. I even spoke to their national call center. As that's where the calls would route eventually. They stated they would send a message over to have someone call me back. And still nothing, it just should not be that hard to order contacts. And I have never had this problem at the other visionworks location (Tinsletown) that I've been treated at before. Such a minute but necessary thing should not have been that difficult. Unfortunately, I do not see me continuing services at this location.

The eye doctor her self was super sweet and was sweet and kind and explained everything. But when it came to sit down and speak about what I needed and what was best. Didn't happened was rush nothing was explained. iv never wore glasses before and do not know anything about them. When I picked them uo I cant see oit of them ended up with bifocals and wasn't told I needed those. So now I'm screwed and have to settle with what I was giving.

After I had waited an hour after my 930am appointment which I got to on time to but was standing at the desk being ignored . They finally pulled me back to start and the worker was very rude and condescending when I told her that I have very hard time doing the machines. These ladies don't speak clearly and I apologize said I dont understand and stated that I'm hard of hearing and deaf. After I completed them magicly I was told that my VSP insurance wasn't working that I could not finish my appt. They gave me a VSP number that doesn't work to sort it out.I thought maybe it was because I'm still new at my job and caused issues. So, later I went home and called my benefits who called VSP with me and confirmed with me that I'm paying for and have do in fact have a active plan. They don't know what they are doing here.
