Valvoline Shop Location #: 1450, Chris, Manager saying "not my problem" is perceived to me as rude and disrespectful, because it came across as dismissive or uncaring, especially when she could have offered help or support to the issues that I brought to her attention as a loyal customer.This issue could have been avoided had the job been done right the first time and when I have to make several trips out to the location and be spoken to in a way that is rude and disrespectful makes matters much worse. The goal should be to de-escalate the situation, not escalate. Gas is not cheap and my time is not to be wasted.Trying to take the responsibility of what happened off of the shop who conducted the work and directing the attention on me is not the right mindset to have when I entrusted my vehicle into their care and paid them for the work.

The staff at the highlands Valvoline location went above and beyond! First my hood wouldn't open, then they had to call to get an oil filter delivered, then I had an issue with my payment. They were patient and kind through the whole ordeal. I don't know anything about cars, it's all foreign, so them taking a little extra time out of their work day to make sure all my needs were met, was truly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this location to a friend!

I cannot recommend this location enough. I just went for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised to find almost all women working there. As a woman myself in a male dominated industry, I was so happy to see us represented. Every single one of them were welcoming and In great spirits and laughing and joking and working their butts off at the same time. It was great! Thank you to Halie! You were so nice and explained everything to me. I appreciate all of you!

I used Valvoline last week for my VW Tiguan. They get complete marks for changing my oil, and 0 start for everything else.Here's what they did well:• Changed my oilHere's what they failed at:• Offered a fuel system cleaning upcharge, then said they couldn't perform it• Took my air filter out and showed me that it needed changing; didn't have any in stock• Offered to rotate my tires; but actually the lift in my bay was broken and it would be 30min before I could switch to the other bay• Offered me new windshield wipers; didn't have any in stock• When they finished up, my car wouldn't start and they had to jump it (not a battery issue; some sort of technician error)They also didn't reset the service status or oil change status on my car's computer (despite me calling ahead of time and asking if they did this; they said "yes"). This caused me to have to come back the next day and ask them to reset it. Two different technicians came out with their phones watching YouTube videos on how to reset my car computer. Both gave up (the second one snarkily said "well, I tried" and walked away defeated) and I drove home to figure it out myself.I get that many cars have many different settings, and it's hard to be an expert on all of them. But if you are selling "convenience" as your main business value, don't offer me things you can't do and leave me to figure them out myself ($200-something dollars later).
