They close the store every night at 2, for the employee to sit behind the store and smoke. 24 hours is apparently a foreign concept to Thorntons.

Lady at register was talking on her phone with a long line. Two pumps would lock my card but not allow any transaction so I had to go inside. The guy in front of me was trying to get his money on his credit card moved to another pump because it wouldn’t let him put gas in it. The lady said she couldn’t do that and he would have to wait three days to get his money back. When I told her two machines wouldn’t take my card, she said sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. I asked her why there weren’t signs letting customers know?? Then she said it was better I came inside to pay credit because the machines put a 50 dollar hold on your card to make sure there’s is money for credit. I have never heard of any gas station doing that. She was very rude in the way she spoke and was very unpleasant. All she could say to everyone was I don’t know, I don’t work on the pumps, idk, idk. No sorry for your convenience, nothing. Rude and all the pumps here suck. Don’t waste your time.

The staff has always been amazing but the drink fountain has been broken for months and the card readers on the pumps never work.

The lady behind the counter with the star tattoo on her neck
Is very disrespectful. She was very rude to a kid to the point where he dropped all his change on the way out the door and did not turn back.

Worst service ever walk to your store on google says it open get there just to get talked to bad bye the service worker on 3rd shift she is terrible dont need a job and they got cameras every were to see she totally shut the store down when not need be so Hazelwood had to go half mile or down the road when not to be when it said online Thornton's on Hazelwood was open

Terrible I walked from Haskins ave to hazelwood at 130am store said open got there before 2am am the girl who was working closed the whole store stopped gas stopped all the locals from buying anything to Thang 5 trash bags I took pics she cussed me out gave. The worst service ever they should shut the store down there Terrible at night time

Terrible customer service.
Always locking the doors too smoke grass out back it's supposed to be 24 hours
Always dirty inside and out I definitely I definitely recommend avoiding this establishment while in town for Derby

I understand it’s not the greatest area of town but it’s a bit ridiculous to have the doors locked most of the time at night. Even getting waved at after the clerk visibly locks the doors as you’re walking up…

They are selling unactivated lottery tickets. Can't get them to answer phone to tell them to activate tickets. Called corporate and they couldn't get ahold of anyone at store either. Corporate said I have to drive all the way across Louisville from another county to have them activate ticket pack

Today is April weds 10th ,the older gentleman working making the food has a bad attitude,ignored customers gets attitudes with customers cause he’s running behind on his work responsibilities.Hopefully management sees this review and does something about his terrible customer service
