This location is far better than its counterpart across the street. That one always has rude employees who like to just throw your change on the counter. It's like most of them there filled out an application for a job they don't want to work. Again, THIS location is absolutely phenomenal.

I visited the Thortons across the street at 3255 Bardstown road around 730am and I had nothing but a delightful experience. The manager Matt was switching out the coffees from earlier in the morning and I wasn't quite sure which to pick. As the guy in front of me went to get coffee, Matt said to him, "hey, you're going to want this one, it's freshly brewed" which I thought was very thoughtful since at 730am all most people want is fresh coffee. As I made my decision, he recommended which one he liked the most and it ended up being the best that I tried. I know these aren't very significant things, but it was nice to see smiling faces that are willing to help. Many people post reviews when they have had bad experiences, but I can say I left this thortons with a smile.
