My stay at the Myriad Hotel was absolutely dreamy! The pool view room was so bright and airy, and I loved how they maintained the historic charm while keeping the decor chic and simple. The cocktails at Switchboard were so good, Celeste, the bartender, was fantastic- the girl can make a mean cocktail! The entire staff made my stay magical, and my room was spotlessly clean. Already planning my next visit! Highly recommend this hotel.

I would highly, HIGHLY advise against staying here.They improperly towed my car. When confronted about it, they said they could do nothing as I did not have a parking permit (which I did, they even looked up that I had paid for parking). After I took an Uber to retrieve my car, I took a picture of the permit still in full view. I went back to the hotel, showed them the permit and the picture. They proceeded to claim that I had put the permit there after the fact, handed me the General Manager's card and said they could not do anything else.Update: When I contacted the General Manager, he said he personally had went to view the car and that it did not have a tag on it and that they could not have messed up. He offered to cover my parking cost (~$50) as he could not reimburse me for the tow cost ($165) as I had not directly booked through them. When I said that was not good enough, he said he would not argue with me on it, then he hung up on me.

We had a fantastic experience this weekend! Vibe is super cool! Fantastic staff, we felt well taken care of during our entire stay! Room was great, clean, large with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities. The hotel location is awesome! Located in Louisville’s Highlands area, close to tons of restaurants, bars, attractions and downtown Louisville. I highly recommend The Myriad Hotel!! Be sure to dine at Paseo, the restaurant attached to the hotel, it’s flat out amazing! (pic attached of our dinner & dessert)

I checked into this hotel 2 hours ago. There was only 1 car in the parking lot, so I was immediately concerned. On the way to the front of the hotel there was graffiti, which made me think this was not a safe area. The front desk of the hotel is in a small dark corner. There is no lobby. Walking down the hallway to my room, there was a terrible musty smell. Nothing about this place was inviting. I ask the clerk if we could cancel and get our money back, but she said no. I am writing this review to prevent anyone else from making the same mistake I did.

Blackout curtains would have earned the extra star; we had a streetlight shining in the window all night so without eyeshades it was really difficult to sleep.

Stayed with my beau for quick weekend trip and it was comfortable and chic.Highly recommend the cocktails at the switchboard off the lobby.Hotel staff were kind and knowledgeable.Walkability: Best place to stay for a weekend in Louisville. Walkable to most highland hotspots and a short cab to whiskey row and other area attractions.

This is a great hotel to stay at. It has a groovy feel to it with a minimalist aesthetic in the rooms that is very relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay, we will be back.

Our stay was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a double queen room and it was clean and spacious. We had a balcony with a view of beautiful pool and courtyard. My only complaint is there was no vending machines or front desk commissary to purchase a cold drink. We definitely be back.Rooms: Our room only had one chair and no table (other than the wall nightstands). There was nowhere to eat or to place your laptop. I understand that the hotel opened recently and are still working out the kinks. We still enjoyed our stay and will be back

I was pleasantly surprised by this place, was new and didnt know what to expect. But I had a great time staying here and really not a single complaint. The staff was friendly, everything was spotless, the bedding was very comfortable, and the included soaps provided were much better than the typical hotel fare, and the room very large. I will stay here again whenever I’m in town.

The hotel is still working out some kinks but the staff IS AWESOME. Pamela took great care of me with a few questions today and was very empathetic and kind. I would stay here again all of the staff was incredible.

Hotel looks very nice inside and out. Very clean and staff is pleasant. Hotel is new, but nothing really in the room is set up. TV is useless as the hotel did not connect it to WI-FI, had front desk give me password for Wi-Fi but again tv wouldn’t connect. Seems to be very outdated model of Samsung TV, so it’s not accepting 5G Wi-Fi and there is no other Wi-Fi connection. When I booked hotel it stated breakfast but it’s really coffee shop in the lobby and it’s not free. I do have keurig in the room but hotel didn’t leave me any pots/sugar/creamer, so you can’t use it. Was hard to find the hotel as hotel sign is not light up at night, but I’ll blame that on Google maps which showed location of the hotel few blocks away. Front door closes at midnight so you have to use two other doors as per employee however im yet to find them. As far as bathroom, water pressure in shower is terrible, when you switch water from spout to shower head, spout keeps running water through so shower head pressure is reduced. Bed is ok but sheets and pillows are terrible, 100% polyester, seems the same for bathroom towels (no sticker to verify). I personally sweat in polyester and can’t get good night of sleep. My collage who was in different room in this hotel, had same issues. At the price I paid, especially for new hotel, I expected much higher quality of products. Yes 100% cotton please. Another thing to note is that my room was not cleaned for my entire stay of 3 days. Not an issue however again I paid for a service. One thing that this hotel has going for it is great location. Another thing to note is my room had one of the historic windows which are beautiful, however the window latch was not lockable or whatever the reason was they decided to put screws through window frame so it can’t be opened. Now this is safety issue, good luck getting through the window in event of fire outside your doors.So in summary:Hotel has gorgeous design and great atmosphere.Rooms look great too but they aren’t comfortable.All of the bedding and linens used in my room were disappointing.Don’t plan on watching TV in room. I wasn’t even able to get my phone mirrored on the tv either.Don’t look for hotel at night or look up intersection prior to arrival just in case.Don’t expect high flow showers.Location location location.Staff is pleasant.I know there’s always that one person who will say why didn’t you call and ask for them to address the issues etc. I expect hotels to do their job and ensure that everything works how it should before I book that room. It’s not my job to point out how things should be, mistakes like that shouldn’t be on customer to point out. Customer should be able to walk in and enjoy his stay without hiccups. With certain price level, there is an expectation in service and this hotel didn’t meet my expectations for the price I paid.
