This was my first time attending this venue. I had a great time at r&B live I liked how the VIP section had couches and movie theaters style seating as well as a covered patio for smoking and socialization

Outrageous drink prices. Cheapest shot is $11 - and it's not a long pour.

As far as music goes, it's my favorite spot in town to catch live performances. I've seen Starset, Light the Torch, Highly Suspect, Jinjer, Marauda, etc etc. Artists from national tours to local shows and the sound tuning is always top notch.
Downstairs standing room only is where most reside. Smaller upstairs deck with limited seating so you may be standing anyways. The main drawback is that drink costs are as, or more expensive than any venue in town so be sure to pregame nearby (you will have plenty of options).

This is probably my favorite venue in town. The most recent show i saw was Protest the Hero, and holy crap it was amazing.

It is decent. The water is all in a can so there is no way to put a top on it once open. Lines at bathroom were short. I went for Amyl and the Sniffers. Not the fault of the venu but people in balcony seating actually complained the front row was standing...at a punk show. I had attended for Chevelle many years ago and I recall some crowd members were odd too. Maybe such a small venue makes it hard to move away from people that can be boorish.

We were there on the night of Hurricane Helene, and the staff was still super friendly and helpful despite the crappy weather. Sound was fantastic. I think having the right combination of great venue and great artists brings out a great crowd, this rang true on our visit.

Attended the Club 90s 2000s night here at the Mercury Ballroom and it was SO much fun! This is one of my favorite venues in town to see my favorite artists, in addition to events like these hosted here!

I bought (2) $35 GA Standing room only tickets to see Kameron Marlowe on Feb 10, 2024. The show was posted “Sold Out” day of show on social media. When we got there, we tried to go upstairs bc the lower floor was getting crowded. We waited in a staircase and then were told we had to buy an additional ticket to have a seat if we wanted to actually see the stage from upstairs bc the only GA was along the wall. So, my friend spent $40 per ticket so we’d have somewhere to actually be able to watch Kameron!!! We now spent $75 per ticket! The ONLY option when we purchased tickets originally was GA/Standing room only. And, they said the venue was cashless, but then their Square wasn’t working for cards. The total event wasn’t managed well and the venue took people for granted by only advertising 1 ticket price, then charging another for seats once you were in the building.

I won tickets on the radio. Elvie shane was amazing. Very intimate setting. But as far as the venue goes it was nice but very disappointing how expensive it was to upgrade to an actual seat. The first guy didn't even mention that there were free options

REM was awesome. Michael Stipe killed it.
