So I purchased a big pot to make my own tamales, thought it was pricey but I still purchased it. The very next day we started cooking after. All was set and done I was cleaning the pot and it look like it was chewed up by something. Took it to the store and the manager said that she needed to reach to distributors and that she'll call me back. 3 weeks no call back, I called 3 time and she's never in. You guys be aware of this place. I support my people but not shady business!!!!

Fresh butchered meat. Friendly folks and well priced. Today they even had fried tilapia and roasted chicken on the to-go bar. Mucha Gracias.

When we went the restaurant portion did not appear to be open. The bakery has a good selection of pastries. Nothing appeared to be labeled regarding what anything was or how much it costs. Turns out the pan dulce were $1.50 each. Not a bad price by all means, but would have been nice to know up front. The pastries we chose all had a sort of pineapple flavor to them. We got one that looked like a chocolate donut, an m&m stuffed one, a chocolate dipped palmier looking one, and one that seems to be a plain sweet bread with a knot tied shape to it. They were all larger than my fist in size and tasted quite good. The bakery also had a menu for ordering sweets and an ice cream counter. The ice cream was $2 for a bowl that was filled quite well. The ice cream was labeled but it was difficult to make out what was what outside of the pistachio and limon flavors. We tried the limon flavor which had a light citrus flavor and otherwise was quite different from ice cream found in a local store. Hard to describe what was different about it, but it still tasted good.We also went into the main grocery store and the butchery. There didn't appear to be any clear signs regarding prices or what the products were there either. What few signs there were were entirely in Spanish with no English translation available. We ended up picking out some guava cheese danish like pastries and a drink. The pastries were $6.50 while the drink was $1.50. While the pastries were a little more than you'd pay elsewhere for a similar cheese pastry, I'd say it's likely due to how expensive guava fruits are.The butchery had an area with fresh chichirones, which we are waiting until our next visit to try. However, it was quite surprising just how large in size they were. They had some that were longer than my arm and much thicker too. While we didn't purchase any meat this time, we were quite impressed by the meat selection and the prices for it. The store has weekly ads posted to their Facebook ad so we knew already that they had good deals on meat from when we were researching the place, but it was nice to see it in person as well.Overall, the selection and prices weren't bad, but I just wish there were more signs.

Awesome Mexican/Latino grocery and meat market. Huge selection of produce, dry goods, and kitchen utensils/cookware for preparing homecooked Mexican/Latino cuisines. Good quality meats from the butcher/meat counter, with daily hot specials such as roast chicken or carnitas (tried both, they were excellent). If you are going to cook anything Mexican, Tex Mex, or other Latin/Spanish cuisines, drop in here for your ingredients list - they’ll have what you need.

This place is a neighborhood treasure. I go there often to get stuff for myself and for the business as well. They've always got ice cold Mexican Coke and I can never leave without one. The butcher shop next door has GIANT pork rinds and The grocery has items I can't get anywhere else. Staff is always very friendly and helpful because I speak zero Spanish. Can't recommend highly enough.

Let's just start off by saying the food was AMAZING!!! THATS THE ONLY THING! service sucked, I had to ask 4 times and 3 different people for extra chips, and cheese, could not understand her and she couldn't understand us, I get it, no hate but if your gonna be a waitress I need to atleast be able to communicate with you instead of pointing on a menu what I want like a child. I don't know who trained her but you need to start over. I had to ask where my food was after everyone else had gotten there's smh the funny thing mine should have been the easiest to make. The cost of a soda in a bottle that I didn't ask for is ridiculous, you pay for it in Mexico $0.50 but then you want to charge me $6 so guess what I took the bottle home with me. Like I said the only good thing about this restaurant is the food I will never be back it's a shame though, this is my first experience in Louisville

Not fluent in English but has a great selection of items not normally found in your local supermarket. If your in to trying something different it is the place to shop.

They have bad food I would not classify them to be authentic food in there restaurant. Also in the meat place the cut it without gloves. Then there is always something rotting or going bad. My dad found a rotted tomato and then the guy said they used the rotted tomato to make salsa for the restaurant he might of been satire but still this establishment is a weird place
