“This is not the branch I go to normally, but I do go in there occasionally. I was in there this morning and my back was killing me. I asked the guard if it was ok for me sit down for a while because of my back. She told me to sit down in one of the chairs by the tellers. I had my hands full of bags with purchases from the Dollar Tree next door. The guard held the doors open for me when I left the bank. The staff there are very friendly and usually get you in and out pretty quick.”

“My son & I went in to start up new accounts with L&N. I was at my other bank 29 years but they moved and it became an issue with getting there before they closed they only have 2 locations in Louisville. So I’ve looked around and chose them. Everyone was very friendly to us, & helpful. Ms, Bonnie Carwile was so kind, knowledgeable, & helpful with us. I was nervous being I’ve been at my other back since I was 13. Though once we got into her office and began I immediately relaxed she’s a breath of fresh air. And a day later she sent us both welcoming/thank you cards! Places of businesses doesn’t usually go out of their way to send you welcoming cards, etc.”

“I was considering opening another bank account to compare the services (I've been with two specific banks for years). Thus, when my aunt told me about a promotion Fifth Third bank was having, I thought I'd give it a go. I had a goal in mind. Open up a checking account- no credit cards because I didn't want a hard inquiry on my credit report. Besides, the cards that are in my wallet do just fine. There weren't many customers in the bank when I walked in. There were only two bankers in their offices at the time, and each of them had a customer with them. There were also one or two customers waiting outside of their offices, so I would have to be after them. I waited quite a while before a third banker came in. Once he got settled, he asked for the next customer. I was next by that time. Our conversation was thorough as he went through his necessary schpeel for opening a new account. He offered what he thought the best solution would be for me based on my lifestyle/needs, and I appreciated that. I declined the credit card offer but opened a savings account along with the checking account. One of the perks of being a customer with Fifth Third, he said, was the personal experience. They treat you like a person instead of a number and even check-in to see how your banking experience is going. I told him I rarely go inside banks as I prefer online banking, although the personalized experience is a nice touch. Sure enough, he has checked in via phone a couple of times to see how my banking experience has been going or if I had any questions. One thing I don't like (although it's no fault of this location per se) is the online Fifth Third experience. It seems dated, and though that's no fault of anyone here, it does affect my banking experience as a whole.”
