I went to have my car looked at because my windshield wipers stopped working. They said i needed the motors replaced. bill was around $500 for the parts and labor, but the average price for the motors are $40-$90. There's no way it requires that much labor to replace a motor. They did give me a complementary oil change/other fluids, so that was nice. If you have the money to spare then they're an alright option, but for the rest of us you should probably choose somewhere cheaper.

Great service. Better than the dealer experience. Actually solved the problem. They are thorough so ask what is really needed to be fixed today and what can be deferred. Nice to have confidence in the repairs as you drive away.

This is my first experience with a European/import car - I’ve heard repairs can be expensive! However, SMI Automotive properly diagnosed the issue and took care of the problem and I wasn’t in sticker shock at the price! They were able to get me worked into their schedule and work was completed in a timely manner! They even washed my car before I picked it up! I highly recommend SMI!!!!! During a routine oil change and tire rotation, technician Scott Toler noticed that one of the front wheel studs was cross threaded. My service advisor Dennis Vogel informed me of this and asked if I wanted him to order a new one. Of course, I agreed. Dennis called me later that morning and said that they could install the new wheel stud and nut the following day. The next day Scott installed the wheel stud and nut and vacuumed the driver's side floor. They didn't charge me any labor! Of course, had this stud been installed on one of the rear wheels, then Scott would have had to remove the brake pads, and this would have been labor intensive. The folks at SMI really take care of their customers. Their attention to detail is impeccable.Services: General repairs & maintenance

They went above and beyond in repairing my vehicle. They replaced my evaporator coil and even cleaned the tires and the interior as a bonus. Out of 8 local auto mechanics I called, this is the only place that would do the work because it’s such a labor intensive job. Will definitely use again.Service: Auto A/C replacement

Took my car in recently for service. This was my first visit to SMI and everyone was so friendly. Service appt was on time as scheduled. Nice waiting area if you’re sticking around.
