? ? ?I am not trying to sound rude or be Karen. BUT …..Me my family gets all of our meds here. The pharmacist I forget her name but she is very helpful and gets the job done along with a very select few if they can even keep people…. however this place has to many people doing jobs they do not know how to do correctly. ( LOSING MEDICINE & LOSING PA’s CONSTANTLY ! ! ) then blaming the patient or doctor even know 3 months refill is sent in every time with every medication. Most people that work here have no idea what medications are on the chat in front of them while the patient’s profile is pulled up while on the phone with them.…..MEDS are always sent over from the doctor with a PA ! The patient has to get ahold of the doctor several times throughout then month & take more time out of their doctors day ! ! Because you all are losing meds out of no where almost every single month.I totally get that sometimes mistakes happen but y’all do it every single time. when every person or computer says something different. To many people micromanaging and most clearly need more training.Making excuses does help the situation or person that needs the medication on time that they need to take daily. . . You all are supposed to be working to help people, not make it so stressful every time to where it hurts someone’s health even more.

The St. Mathews Community Pharmacy is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever been too. They are excellent in every way and I am very pleased to have found them. I gladly drive across town to get my scripts filled hassle & stress free from very nice, well educated people. Complete opposite of chain stores, with huge lines, no phone communication, rude workers, and endless complications. None of that here! Thank you guys for doing such a great job, and always going above and beyond. TEN STARS!

Before they moved they were easy to deal with. Now at the new store the pharmacist is impossible to talk to and the girl that answers the phone is very rude and not helpful. Guess we should have stayed at CVS

This is the works pharmacy in Louisville. Since they moved out of St. Matthews customer service is a 0. Many Saturdays I have driven out to get my prescriptions and they were closed. Often times my prescription is not ready or they have a hard time finding the actual order. Very very frustrating and a waste of my time. Transferring all my prescriptions.

This pharmacy shorted my controlled substance prescription, when they finally decided to make it right, they shipped it out via UPS. It was delivered, left at the front door of a house I haven’t lived at in 4 years. When I called to ask what to do, the pharmacist told me the pharmacy did their part, they give me what i was owed, and they blamed me for not changing my address(I verified my address with them 3-4 different times that month when trying to get the medicine they owed me) I asked why a signature wasn’t required, she said it was and UPS screwed up, and she’d be making a claim but as far as my medicine, they did their job. I’m beyond aggravated with them at this point so I drive an hour to my old address hoping the current residents would be honest and give me the package, they were. I got the package St matthews sent out, and there was not a signature required. I didn’t contact them again, and I won’t. Just know that this irresponsible pharmacy sent out a controlled substance that is prescribed to me without requiring a signature, then instead of owning the mistake and trying to make it right, they blamed everyone else. Just pray their irresponsibility doesn’t kill someone’s next time..

Let me just say the St.Matthews Pharmacy is a special place that have 2 of the best caring pharmacist in Louisville. Joseph and Heba go out of there way to listen and take care of my special medication request, as one size doesn't fit all and they understand that and are terrific! I love this pharmacy and its wonderful staff!

February 2022 by My Beautiful Smile
This is going to be kind of long so I apologize from the start. I was just diagnosed with several plaque psoriasis by my dermatologist. ? I have been struggling with this since last June, and it is in my scalp, so I have lost almost all of my hair. We initially thought this was caused from a new medication I started over the summer, and I still think that is what caused it, but after stopping the medication, it only partially cleared up. My doctor and I decided it was time to start treatment. He prescribed Skyrizi for me. I live in Hodgenville, KY and my doctor is in Elizabethtown, KY, but he sent my prescription over to St Matthew’s Speciality Pharmacy. It is a specialty medication, but I didn’t understand why he sent it to Louisville, at first. My insurance denied paying for medication, so first off all I called the pharmacy and they told me that they had already filed an appeal for me. I am so thankful! He also told me why I was denied and what medications the insurance would approve, but my doctor is out of town. I have not only been suffering with the hair loss, I have been in severe pain all over from this. I knew that I couldn’t wait until February to see my doctor before getting treatment. After several unsuccessful attempts reaching anyone at the doctors office I called St Matthews back yesterday morning. Aquinda, my Angel, answered the phone. I explained to her about my hair loss and pain and she offered to call my doctors office for me. Within 10 minutes of her calling I received a call back from the doctors office. They happened to have 2 samples of Skyrizi that they offered to me until I could get my medication approved through insurance. I was able to get my first injection yesterday, and I am already feeling better! I am so thankful for Aquinda! Now I know why my doctor sent my medication to St Matthews Speciality. God knew that I need Aquinda to help me, so he placed her in my life! Aquinda I know I have called you twice now to thank you for all of your help, but you don’t realize what a blessing you are to me! I have suffered for so long with this! Thank you sooooooo much for going above and beyond to help me! I’m forever grateful! Stephanie ?❤️

June 29, 2021 I had one appointment with Sarah ********* PA-C at the Fern Creek Branch of Associates in Dermatology. I asked her what could be done for my facial melasma and she gave me a little piece of note paper with the phone# of St. Matthews Specialty Pharmacy where she would call in a prescription for Flu/Hyd/Tret which she said would work really well for me and they'd fill and deliver to me. Not once over a period of 4 carefully refrigerated deliveries of the prescription to my door did I ever receive any Medication Information with warnings of side effects or a warning that I should not use more than 2 carefully refrigerated deliveries of the prescription for 6-8 weeks and no appointment was made by Sarah ********* PA-C to follow my progress. I don't think she ever thought about me once I left on June 29, 2021. In the beginning the medication was working, but resulted in adverse effects because it was used over 3 months. This resulted in unusual dryness and my pigmentation darkened. I pray it isn't permanent and exfoliates to an even color, but that hasn't happened yet. I had to search online myself to find Flu/Hyd/Tret shouldn't be used more than 6-8 weeks and has many side effects that can cause many types of damage. After calling St. Matthews Specialty Pharmacy twice telling them to not send me anymore refills, I was automatically delivered a 5th refill in November 2021. I called and told them I'd called twice not to send anymore and they sent a bag to return it and refunded my credit card. I give one star only because it's required by BBB. St. Matthews Specialty Pharmacy should have warned me that Flu/Hyd/Tret should only be applied for 6-8 weeks. Now I'm suffering discoloration worse than melasma.

Polite and friendly staff. Everyone always has a smile on their faces. Pharmacists are gentle with their patients. They sure know what they are doing. Great teamwork, staff members.
