This was the best hotel stay I have had in a while! What do I mean by best? Breakfast was fire ? especially the BREAKFAST POTATOES. KEEP THOSE GOING. ?
The separate rooms for the toilet & shower was very convenient, especially with a group of three women. ?
Staff was sweet as southern tea❗️? 10 out 10 recommend.
Will be back!!!
Rooms: The separate rooms for the toilet & shower was very convenient, especially with a group of three women. ?
Food and drinks: Love the hot breakfast options & complimentary coffee/tea ☕️
Noteworthy details: Elevators were quick & efficient. There were multiple conventions & athletic tournaments going on. Even with the influx of patrons, getting to my room was speedy.

Hotel charged both CLC and my personnel card for my stay. Had to call on 5 seperate occassions to get it resolved. On check in the lady who checked us in had to be high as a kite hence the orginal issue.

On August 15, 2024, I booked 5 rooms in this hotel through the platform. My credit card was repeatedly charged and three more charges were deducted. I have been communicating with the platform and this hotel, and each time the customer service made different requests. Every time I provide all the information over and over again, I never get a reply! I give the worst review! I'll wait until the problem is resolved before withdrawing! Not sure whether the management is just inept or also dishonest.
1. Yesterday we had to wait 30 minutes add the front desk because of IT problems at the hotel.
2. The booking system of Marriott is inferior compared to Hilton - we have one car but needed two rooms. I can either book the parking rate on both or none of the rooms. I mentioned that at check-in and they said they would take off the parking rate from one room. The next day when we already had left I noticed that we were still charged the wrong rate for both rooms. When I called the hotel, after 25 minutes on wait, I was told that they cannot change this, contradicting their own statement. When I asked that this is brought to the attention of management, I was offered 500 points which I found almost offendingly low/useless.
3. At check-in yesterday, they said that the rooms aren't ready but would be soon. We said that we will be exploring the city for 2 hours and we were reassured that the rooms would easily be ready by then. However, only one room was ready.
4. I made booked both rooms jointly under one booking. Two different credit cards were used by the hotel and I was told that this couldn't be easily changed.
The management should be fired and replaced.

It is about a 7 min drive to the Expo center. A person can walk to do so much downtown. Bars, tours, Louisville Slugger museum, and so much more.

This room smells awful especially in the bathrooms. I can still smell the scent from the past guests imbedded into the furniture. There are stains left in the mattresses.

Worst Marriott experience I've had across 35 countries and 15 states.
I booked the hotel for travel while on military leave via the online app. I spent two weeks using the app to book hotels along my route without issue until this one. I was traveling with a dog and selected the 'pets' option as always. I arrived and my room was not ready, this was the first time they saw the dog. I came back 2 hours later to attempt check in again and that's when they notified me that pets weren't allowed. They then said that I should get my deposit back, however they couldn't provide proof of cancellation or a refund statement.
I highly recommend you avoid this location as they do not honor the Marriott app nor your status. They are unorganized and their service is sub par. Avoid at all cost!

STAYED 3 NIGHTS. STAFF FRIENDLY BREAKFAST GOOD BUT WAS THE SAME EVERY MORNING NO CHANGE, OTHER HOTELS I STAYED AT THIS SUMMER SEEM TO ROTATE A FEW ITEMS. PARKING IS TIGHT AND EXPENSIVE GARAGE WAS ALWAYS FULL AT NIGHT AND EARLY IN THE MORNINGS. PARKING GARAGE AND HOTEL ELEVATORS MADE ALOT OF POPPING AND SQUEAKING NOISE BUT OPERATED OK. ROOM WAS CLEAN BATHROOM DOORS ARE SLIDING DOORS AND LOCKS DID NOT WORK ON EITHER.
Rooms: ROOMS ARE NICE SIZE AND CLEAN NICE BED VERY GOOD SHOWER.
Safety: SECURITY GUARD IS ON DUTY AND STAYS AROUND PARKING GARAGE. DID SEE BROKEN GLASS FROM VEHICLE WINDOWS ON THE GROUND IN PARKING AREA.

The hotel is pretty much in the middle the city. It's a good local but a very tricky driveway. Makes a little bit difficult for delivery of GrubHub. For the first time at any hotel, there was a loudspeaker and every single room. The front desk announce that anybody in the 20 minute parking would get towed if they don't come out and move their vehicles. That's just something different but nothing wrong. I got a nice comfy room top floor to see the local area. Again, there's nothing wrong with this place at all. I just wish the location was a little bit more assessable for vehicles to drive in.
Walkability: You are able to walk to local restaurants with minimum effort. Nice location just a tricky driveway. Other than that, a nice spot for a business trip.

Comfy but old school. This is obviously a much older hotel, as it's a bit worn, and things like internet have other hotels listed which seem to connect easier lol. Just checked in, haven't been able to get online yet, but have noticed that the room is clean and very cozy, and by looking at the windows appears to be in a good location with restaurants and pubs and things nearby. Will update more in a few days after my stay, but have already found out there is no hotel restaurant or bar. Springhill suites is literally just the hotel rooms.

We would not return to this location.
At check-in we knew we would have an interesting visit. We arrived after 9PM with 3 very tired children from our road trip. There was a bit of confusion with the CC used to hold the reservation. The individual checking us in was not friendly and when she went to speak to a manager, she mumbled under her breathe and was very rude.
When we got to our room, it was thankfully chilled, nice and looked great. However, we noticed the door off of the cabinet that the refrigerator was in and found it was off with a strange smell. We had to turn it on for cold items that we brought with us. To get rid of the smell I popped popcorn for my children. The outlet the microwave was plugged into was not working. We then found out that numerous other outlets did not work, which is inconvenient with phones, tablets and other items that need charged for a road trip.
Breakfast and crew were great and it was very clean on the 2nd floor.

No issues with getting checked in or checked out. Staff was splendid. The rooms were clean and standard for Springfield’s. Located walking distance from a variety of bars and restaurants. Plenty of parking that cost 19$ a night. A little expensive but by far not the most expensive I’ve seen. The inside hallways need to be updated. Pictures and wallpaper curling and falling off the walls in certain places. One of the rooms was missing a room number placard and in its place a sharpie written number.
Nearby activities: Plenty of bars, restaurants and museums within walking distance.
Walkability: Everything you need in less than a half mile walk.
